With one snap of my fingers as I collect the sixth stone, I will have infinite power, enough toâŚ. create more resources for the entire planet! They will WORSHIP me as a hero, and I will take over the ENTIRE TRI STATE AREA!â âWhat? Kill half of all people? What kind of crazy person would do that?â
âYou see, Perry the Platypus, when I was growing up, my parents only let me eat half of all my meals.â

death the kid is such a⌠weird character. i cant think of another character like him because heâs so weird. like, heâs the son of the grim reaper with horrible ocd and perfectionism issues and also he dresses like a preppy goth in full tuxedo but he also rides a skateboard named beelzebub and does cool tricks on it whenever presented the opportunity also he has guns. none of those character traits sound like they belong to the same person. hes somehow both the coolest and lamest character in the show.Â
he hold gun like this
You forgot to mention that the guns are sisters that dress like cowboys for no good reason, and the fact that theyâre ex-criminals who used their ability to transform into weapons to commit crimes. Kid got them put on probation specifically so he could use them because of his aforementioned obsession with symmetry.
they dress like cowboys and theyre not even from the west or the south!!! theyre from fucking!!! brooklyn!!!!
Shoes like these wind up at Goodwill because the person was honest with themselves: They simply couldnât handle the power of flamingo-toed shoes. Whoever you are, thank you for your honesty. Someone WILL come along, and it will be like pulling the sword from the stone.Â
I love these far to much lmao

Hey guys, just a heads up -
Viagogo is advertising Queen tickets on here.
Do not, under any circumstances, purchase anything from Viagogo.
They routinely add additional fees â $50 tickets at the check out, but then they charge you a $200 processing fee (yes, $200), and there is no way to get your money back. And then you rock up at the concert in question and find that there are four other people with your same ticket, because you were all sold fakes.
A colleague of mine had this happen â two tickets, and they should have been $70 all up. $475 was taken from her account. They werenât able to get the unapproved money back.
Adding insult to injury, weeks later they arrived at the show, went to buzz in their ticket and it bounced. Someone else had already used that ticket to get in. Security went and found the person, and while this was happening, more security brought over a third person who also had the same ticket. The person who had arrived first had the legit ticket, and the other two were fakes. Fakes that cost nearly $500.
They have 2,479 one-star reviews on Product Review, the last of which was shared 17 hours ago, all with similar stories.
Donât buy anything from Viagogo. They will rob you blind, and you wonât even get to see the show.
Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
Your mom is always doing all the chores and housework. Your father is there, but he wonât help without an ordeal. You have a brother, but he ignores your momâs requests and locks himself in his room immediately after school and after dinner. Exhausted, your mom turns to you and asks for help.
When you were a child and were asked to help, you always used to point to your brother and whine, âbut why doesnât HE have to?â What you couldnât see was that he would inevitably refuse, throw tantrums, and do a purposefully bad job, which your mother would wind up having to do over again anyway. In this way, asking your brother (or father, even) to do a task doubles the time it takes to complete it. And your mother has come to understand this. So although she will call both of you and give you both chores, she only enforces it with you. Because despite the fact that you hate it, as every child does, you do not act like your brother. Your chores get done, not without whining, but they get thoroughly done.
When you got older, youâd do what she requested without whining.
Now, years after that, you donât even have to be asked.
You are keenly aware that only half of the people in the house do the chores. That half is all female. You and your mom. You resent this, but you love your mother, and will always help her. When there is a family gathering, there is still that gendered split. Again, you resent this, but you care about your mother, and her mother, and your aunts, so you will always help them.
And thatâs how it was for your mother when she was a girl. And hers. And you realize that this is probably how it has always gone, that this is how things came to be how they are. And what can you do about it? Nothing, except for picking up the next dirty dish and taking solace in the knowledge that you are not alone in your anger.
This is something I noticed when I was nannying. The female child was always âso helpful!â Because it never even occurred to her that she could say no. She did what grownups asked her to do. The male child would mouth off, throw tantrums, get violent, and even threaten self-injury because you asked him to put his laundry in the drawers. (Except, of course, when his father asked.) It never even occurred to the girl to act that way. It certainly never occurred to her that sheâd get what she wanted if she did.
Except it did occur to her to protest or tantrum, years ago, and she was punished for disobeying, while her brotherâs resistance was not. We learn early on that the rules are different for us than they are for boys. We learn at such a young age that we forget how we were punished and praised and molded to this path, and thus our obedience seems natural to everyone around us, including ourselves.
And in addition to being punished more for disobeying, female children have empathy for the older women who slave over the housework all alone, and feel compelled to help them out of kindness. Male children donât feel this because theyâve internalized ideas about the inferiority and subservience of women, and are already learning to see this as morally ok.
this happens at work! i replaced a male coworker when he got promoted. and found out he never did the admin work the job required. much to the frustration of the quality manager and admin who were both women. they ask me, i do it. it needs to be done but he would literally tell them he wasnât doing it. it was part of the job he didnt like and he said no? and no repercussions. he got promoted! and i am like still reeling over it because if i just said no to a part of my job i would get fired.Â
I run into this at work, too. I end up training male 20somethings on stuff like how to sweep a floor, then having to do it again after them. Yes, Iâm serious. My current closer is 21 years old and I had to teach him how to sweep, mop, do dishes, and what a clean grill looks like. (Hint: there should not still be streaks of charcoal and cleaning chemical on it!) It took multiple shifts, during whichâplease keep in mind I am a trainer and supervisorâhe complained because I tell him what to do. Iâm not even shitting. âYou tell me what to do a lot.â âYes, well, thatâs my job?â Said in a tone of âyes, and ⌠?â
He sulked until one of the other guys on my teamâwho is not a shift lead and doesnât even have a hope of becoming one, really, heâs a fantastic cook but doesnât have the communication skills for managementâreamed him a new asshole, told him how good a trainer I am, told him I worked my way up from crew member to shift lead, pointed out how hard I work, and finished up by basically telling the dude âget good or get gone.â He got ⌠. passable. Iâm really hoping they hire me another female closer sometime soon. I canât stand training men, and this is why.
And this is totally learned behavior. Iâm a preschool teacher, and we do family style dining with the kids, which means the kids help clean and set the table for breakfast, lunch, and snack. Iâm always there for breakfast, and itâs just as often the boys asking to help get the table ready as it is the girls. They love to spray and wipe the table and set out the plates, cups, napkins, and spoons. Itâs seen as âspecialâ to get to be the table helper. So yeah, boys not wanting to help around the house is totally a learned thing and not âjust the way it is.â

A little reminder I made for myself a couple of years back about the eternal struggle and process and determination of being an artist, the cyclical nature of pride and frustration and inspiration I found myself in as a child. I think itâs kind of a beautiful thing.
