He’s trapped in purgatory, cut off from the mortal world again, possibly unable to even know what’s happening or what became of his sister instead the end. For all he knows, what are the chances she’s even alive? His only hope is to cling to the small hope that maybe, maybe she has a chance to live where he couldn’t.
