So as part of completing my alternative certification program I had to answer a couple of questions for my portfolio package. Here is the prompt and my answer: Summarize your year using a song or movie title and Explain why you chose this title: Star Wars: A New Hope I feel that my first year was full of “out of this world” challenges but as the year came to a conclusion my Jedi training was complete and I developed a new sense of hope for the next school year. As the kids try to act like the “Empire” I kept them on track and focus on the lighter side of the Force.
