I'm watching American Guns on Discovery Channel and a woman came in wanting a pink gun. I think making any gun pink is a stupid thing to do. Metal doesn't come in pink. But if someone wants a gun in pink and the shop is willing to do it then fine. But I draw the line at what this woman wants. She wants a pink Colt 1911. This gun has been around for literally 100 years. It was the standard issue pistol used in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam War. It's been used in the Gulf War, War in Afghanistan, and the Iraqi War. There have been 2.7 million 1911's made for military contracts since it was first used. You do not paint a historic gun like the 1911 pink. You just don't fucking do it.
