Fanfiction is a very powerful thing, Anon. Usually it's the driving force that gets me to like a ship. So imagine my pleasant suprise when I saw a lot of neat super cool stuff written for Rachel and Chad (sidenote: I had NO idea who Chad was at first (didn't finish the show), but I saw that this 100k word fic was about him and rachel so I was instantly sat when I found out he was cool important to the plot)
I was really drawn to them being Supreme Leaders, y'know? highly competent Operatives who kinda act the same but are far from being The Same™... foils. There's layers to uncover and explore here, Anon. Why would I not find that extremely fun to analyze and draw about?
the Jock x Prep, boy next door x eldest daughter, frat boy x sorority girl...
The list goes on. Not to mention the great potential for dark serious sci-fi espionage stuff → Starfall
As for my other ships, maaaaybe everyone x Rachel? I just think she's neat and is ship-able with a bunch of other characters.
Think about it, Patton x Rachel, Numbuh 74.239 x Rachel, Windsor x Rachel, heck even Lenny x Rachel ← these could all just be platonic idk yet
Sidenote: I also think Chad is ship-able with a bunch of other characters too, I could totally make up an OC for him or Rach, but since Rachel already exists in-universe and so does Chad, shipping them together saves up time to insert a relevant, equally competent OC, you feel?
