THIRSTY FOR CHANGE

Niger A woman carries a bucket of water back to her home. Throughout the developing world, one billion people are without access to clean water. Today, please take a moment to pray for these struggling families. Pray for access to clean water in their own villages—water that won’t cause sickness or spread disease and parasites.

Please pray today for women like Esther in Africa who often have to walk for miles to collect water for their families. Pray for access to deep water wells and purification systems that provide clean drinking water in their own villages.

this is where they cook all the food at the orphanage - the water they use to cook with is at the bottom of the picture.  be thankful for the water you have today, even if its tap water (which we tend to act like is so terrible).  if your heart is really moved to help, you can contact me about making a donation to this orphanage - they’re currently in the process of raising money to get clean water.  merci.

This September, we’re celebrating charity: water’s birthday by making a big impact in one country—Rwanda. The people here overcame the darkest time in their history, and together, rebuilt their nation. Now, they’re working to give clean water to everyone.
