I still have about two and a half hours to go to the new year over here but I might as well put this here.

2024 was a hell of a time for me. I dropped a lot of standards that I was holding myself to and started to be a bit more true to myself, even if it was a bit forced at first, but it was marred by a lot of friendships being broken to the point where I'm pretty much left with nothing at this point, yet another move on short notice (I'm getting tired of this), not to mention a bunch of mental breakdowns over things that I really shouldn't have mental breakdowns over.

as for next year? I've got a few things to look forward to, but also a lot of things that I hope I can heal from. but most of all, I need a big long break. and a hug or two. and maybe people that I can rely on to be there for me when I'm feeling aggravated and need to talk about my pet peeves.
