I love the sense of humor in the metal community. Last show I went to was this family, tall powerful mom in old Nordic-style dress with a Mjolnir tattoo watching the merch table & the dad was in full death face paint & spiked arm bands & leather pants etc. performing. At the end of the set, the dad was like “NORMALLY WE HAIL SATAN HERE BUT INSTEAD I WANT TO WISH NATHAN HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SON, I LOVE YOU. HAIL NATHAN!!” & I looked over to see this bony blonde 13 year old with glasses standing next to his mom just beaming as an entire bar hailed Nathan. It was very cute.

no more negative posts about writing!! i write because i genuinely love & enjoy the entire process, and when i do occasionally face problems, coming up with ways to solve them can be a fun challenge in its own right! even if i don't immediately get it to sound the way i imagined, no writing is ever useless, and word by word i am becoming a better writer than i was yesterday :-)
