   Her words come as a shock to Locke. “Like me?” He asks in loss, wondering just what about him is worth wanting to be like at all in the first place. Honest with a shake of his head, “you’re a great person as you are, Yuna.” At least from what he’s been able to see and judge for himself. “You’re more than meets the eye, take pride in that yeah?” With a small smile he pats her on the shoulder and paces forward. In a display of nonexistent nonchalance he supports the back of his head with gloved hands as he continues to walk slightly ahead of her. His memories aren’t too clear yet, there’s still a big fog he can’t clear out just yet, a fog the wind refuses to blow away. He’s in a position he doesn’t favor, having to depend on stray and vague feelings that he knows are influenced from whatever mystery his past is, but he isn’t an ungrateful individual. Locke will take what he can... for now. “You and the rest have helped me keep my head above water y’know?” He doesn’t shy away from confessing that he’s definitely been leaning on those around him while trying to collect his bearings. “I’d say you’re already a lot like me from what I know of you,” bringing his hands down he looks over at her with that same smile. “I don’t think we’re so different.” He adds. “You take pride in wanting the world to be better than it was the day before... so do I.” In the face of injustices and of wrongs he’s not one to stand on the side and watch without lifting a finger for change.

If they were trying to go for “in this world is eat or be eaten” then okay I get it, I understand but there were other much more bETTE R WAYS to approach and get that across?? All of that game, every single last piece of that game was just shock after shock after shock and not a good kind either, it was all just wasteful?? If that makes sense. Not once in my life have I ever had to take a mental break from a video gam e, the games are usually my breaks. But this one I just couldn’t. I.... ..I had such a hard time letting Jo/el’s killer grow on me and not cause she killed him but because it was so poorly done?? From the get-go I already got the idea okay she’s a firefly isn’t she? Or associated or whatever but like the whole game, even from Ell/ie’s perspective I just felt like I was going in circles and not progressing and then all of that unnecessary shock just to what?? For what? What was the point? I’m having such a hard time wrapping my head around so much of that game. I don’t understand, I don’t get it, and I don’t want to I don’t awraxawraxa. That ending was fucking disgusting and not because of its content (my bias for endings aside) but because of how it was done??
