hahaha i love when my friends bragging about losing 75 pounds after never being even close to as heavy as i am now. i love relapsing.
something so freeing and so terrifying about moving into my own place. roommates who aren't tracking my every bite. no family to breathe down my neck. complete control over my grocery list and food. but also. roommates who aren't sick like i am. temptations around every corner. no structure to keep me on track. i should thrive under the pressure. this is my chance to prove myself.
How to distract yourself:

Touch y0urself - keeps hands and mind occupied from something drastically different than f00d.
Cut/dye your own hair - distracts you and gives you creative freedom.
Shave your entire body - takes a shit ton of time, keeps you out of the kitchen, and is beneficial.
Start a new TV show - keeps you in bed and distracts your mind - bonus points if a main character is super “small” (its motivation)
Learn a new language - this will keep you super busy if you’re dedicated enough.
Study - again, distracts your mind.
Watch a docu series or a documentary - learn something new! - bonus if it’s history
Do an artsy makeup look - keeps you out of the kitchen, takes up your mind and hands, and fun!
Watch fashion shows - this will keep you busy, motivate you, and make you never want f00d again
Write a story/fanfic - occupies your mind and hands, fun to do and gives creative freedom and control.
Go walking - burns c@ls, keeps you away from the kitchen.
Make bracelets/kandi - keeps your hands and mind busy.
Listen to a new album while doing something like cleaning - keeps you focused on lyrics and instrumentals instead of hunger.
Write down your future regarding your UGW - example: “when I reach my UGW I will buy..” or “when I reach my UGW I’ll go to…” - keeps you motivated and distracted.

alright y'all, i had a little menty b and started restricting again, which means it's time i put you guys on something again:
cucumber salads
yes, like the tiktok famous cucumber salads that one boy that looks like gen z draco malfoy makes in the big ol deli containers that you get your wonton soup in. one english cucumber? 45 kcal. and one usually fills up a whole 4 cup container for me. then you add small amounts of a few sauces, seasonings, and dressings, and boom. low cal volume food that looks more substantial than it is.
i've been loving spicy peanut (a little peanut butter, chili crisp, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and msg (obviously)) but i also love doing salt and vinegar, pb&j (a little peanut butter and a little jelly goes a long way here!), salmon bagel, sushi roll... whatever flavor profiles you like, but with a base of cucumber instead of rice/red meat/carbs/other high cal foods. like,,,,, how much better can you get???
and bonus points if you make it spicy, that's a built in appetite suppressant right there. i'm having the peanut one (about 300 kcal altogether, mostly because i poured too much soy sauce and had to counterbalance with a little extra peanut butter so that the sauce sticks) and i'm barely making it halfway through. y'all. trust.
