RYAN BAILEY is a 28 year old, American sprinter.

standing at 6ft. 4in. and weighing 225 pounds, Ryan was born & raised in portland, oregon. he and his mother, Debra were homeless for many years; living out of their car & trying to survive as best they could. Debra suffered from fibromyalgia & degenerative arthritis. this made it physically impossible for her to work. and just like many young boys growing up & watching their mom’s struggle, ryan didnt benefit from having the presence of his father. 

Ryan found himself unable to focus and keep up in school as a result of maybe not eating or getting a good rest the night before he had to appear in class. his lack of focus eventually led to him joining a gang. when he was only 16 years old and living his life on the edge, ryan was stabbed in his back and shoulder by a rival gang member. this, in part was the wake-up-call that ryan needed to take his final beating in order to exit the violent gang he had joined.

ryan then began to dedicate his life to football & track. 

after solidifying himself as a speed demon in high school, ryan then attended rend lake college in chicago, illinois. he secured the junior title in the 100 relays, which has resulted in all of the national, olympic success that he has now enjoyed – with his son Tyree right by his side.
