Christopher Nolan is Zack Snyder if he were a liberal sigma male grindset instagrammer and not just a useful idiot. His mass appeal comes from his ability to make dumb guys feel smart. Where Zack Snyder can't competently film a scene to save his life, Nolan seemingly has absolutely zero understanding that film is an audiovisual medium, and paints over every scene with an oppressive coat of Hanz Zimmer, much like your landlord you wish you could decapitate. It took me and my friends three and a half hours to watch Tenet because we kept going into genuine hysterics. The airport fight scene right next to a jet engine made my laugh so hard i almost puked because the loudest thing in the mix, by far, was shoes squeaking on the linoleum floor.
