The Cat House on Billy Moore Farm, Lakin Kansas. Billy's wife Judy, had a number of cats that she took care of around their farm. The cats would help with rodents and insect infestations. A couple years ago, Judy was diagnosed with terminal cancer and her health started to deteriorate. One by one the cats too seemed to know her condition, and the pack started to thin out. Judy passed away May 2013, and one cat, her favorite, stuck around until she passed and then he died shortly after her. She had a unique and special bond with her cats, even down to her last days. This was her cat house. It was full of love and fur, and when she died, the colony died with her. #kansasproject
