Data Privacy
I do not think about my data privacy often. I know that companies, cell phone apps, and electronic devices are tracking my activities. Most of the time I feel like all of this tracking provides a ton of different benefits. That does not mean I do not take steps to try and protect my data. I am simply not in fear about data collection happening. However, while I was putting together my post for our Tumblr assignment I came across a comment about data privacy and the overturning of Roe vs. Wade. Admittingly I forget about some of the crazy things that are going on in this country. I live in California so Roe vs Wade being overturned does not impact me the same as it has impacted others. Even in this type of situation I am not so much concerned with my data collection, I am concerned with the laws that are being put in place. Actually in this specific case overturned.Â
