Slowly but surely, I'm finding video tutorials to learn how to do basic things in Sims 4. I need to rebuild that "muscle memory" with shortcuts and stuff. I'm developing ideas for storytelling and have a character I created BUT I think I need to create a custom world if I want to control the narrative better. You might know that is not my forte but I am trying to rein myself in with the CC. I also need to look for...maps? Make the world map prettier? I don't own any expansions yet. I'll probably need some. So I guess the build will be slow. But I'm excited for it.

This is a young lady I started with. I tried to save her package in my library but I may not have done it right because she isn't there. Still pondering that. Her name is Sage Wilson. You may or may not recognize the last name.

Sorry for the HUD icons. I'm still figuring out how to take decent shots and hiding things.

I find that all my saved sims2packs of all the characters I created starting with Dark December are no longer on my hard drive. I know I kept them in a folder but...I guess the universe is really trying to tell me something.

Hello guys,

I've been away so long...I plan to reinstall Sims 2 once I find it (I owned all but 2-3 EPs on disk so I need to install UC) but...I haven't had the courage to start over.

I did, however install the Sims 4 base game and am thinking about modding it and trying my hand at a story again.

If anyone has tips for getting started or can point me to mods like skins, eyes, hair etc (I still haven't figured out how to make an actual custom character yet - couldn't find sliders - maybe I need to buy EPs I dunno) but please feel free to provide some suggestions.

It's been a long time since I was able to play. My previous Sims 2 game would no longer run/said it wasn't installed...but I realized in testing Sims 4 that I really miss the game.

I won't be recreating my old characters because they belong in the Sims 2 world.

Married to Aidan O’Malley, bassist for Mercury Rising and mother to Cullen O’Malley.

The O’Malleys no longer live in this house which, to me, is heartbreaking because I spent a lot of time decorating it and the darned thing just - crashes.
