I feel like a kid again! The last time I got a new gaming console was over a decade ago. #StillBirthdayPosting

I got a new tattoo! I've wanted this one for years. It is written in Cirth Moria, a type of dialect for Khuzdul (the language of the dwarves in Middle Earth). These words were runes carved into Kili's runestone in The Hobbit movies. The stone was from his mother and it translates to "return to me" so he would be safe and return to her. This has a nice meaning for my mom and I considering my dangerous job. This tattoo is also my tribute to Tolkien for the beautiful world and strong characters he created. I suppose its also a nod to Jackson for bringing it to the screen in the most amazing way. Lastly, this runestone was passed from one of my favorite characters, Kili, to my absolute favorite character,Tauriel. These characters embody the strength, honor, love, passion, loyalty, and bravery I'd like to carry with me everyday. I forgot my phone when I went to the gym but I promise I was there. I love the 7 o clock class on Fridays, the trainer is awesome and there's usually just a couple of us running around to rock music. Today was 17 minutes of EMOM (every minute on the minute): 2 ropes climbs and then 12 burpees. I felt depleted pretty immediately so I did 3-6 burpees and 1-3 rope climbs (scaled) each time. #CrossfitWilmington #GottaFuelBetter
