This is one of Bowies favourite books. As soon as I found this out I had to have it - my copy is a first print. The clothes 'The wild boys' wear is where he got his inspiration for Ziggy Stardust. The wild boys' weapon of choice was a bowie knife...hey. This book is amazing. Read it. Burroughs is legendary.

'10th January 2016' - I can't believe it, no word of a lie, I said this to my girlfriend this morning over oats and cocoa. I'm kind of scared now. David Bowie was an who was born a star. He was easily one of my biggest influences. To be strange and be even stranger if you could. I'm so overwhelmed by this sudden news. But may you rest in peace you spaceman. RIP you legend.

'A Woman A Week' - In Australia for a while there was a woman being killed by domestic abuse approximately once a week. Disgusting statistic. I wrote a poem that used repetition to symbolise the repetition of the abuse, how people may see it happening over and over again, but do nothing, or the authorities will/can do nothing, until it's too late.
