Genuinely I just don't think people younger than 35 know how good they have it. And so on. i would draw this argument out for as long as feasibly possible, until eventually someone would pull out their phone to prove to me my wrongness. not that I am some genius in this regard but if you follow ai developments even slightly you might change the things you are most worried about. do people know the extent to which ai is already eating itself and how meaningless this is making swaths of the internet. do people know that there are plenty of random mid-sized companies today buying their employees’ likenesses to create digital clones and using these to make hundreds of videos. While racism is ultimately the root of it all, I have to point out; when many people think of 'beauty' as a whole concept, dark skin doesn't factor into their minds. I'm not even talking about different features, eye shapes, lip sizes, nose shapes, cheekbones, etc. I'm talking about skin color. Someone having brown skin exempts them from being considered beautiful in the minds of such people, regardless of any and all other features they may have. Think about that for a while.
