"Oh, really?" The Witch said curiously. "Hehe, well I'm sure alternate timeline me is a very lucky girl!"

"I’m doing pretty good, if I do say myself!" Jade responded, her ears twitching subconsciously. "And you?"

"Hm? Oh, they’re very real!" She responded "Y’see after I prototyped my dream self with my dog, Bec, in my kernelsprite my dreamself inherited all his First Guardian powers, but then when I died and turned God-Tier my dream self sort of ‘took over’ and so then I inherited the powers and I got the ears!”  She paused for a second. "Hehe, sorry. that probably sounded pretty confusing!"

Chiaki gave the other girl a confused look. “…Yeah.. that was confusing.” She laughed softly. “It sounds like a game quest.”

"Hm, well it was! In a way, that is." She explained "It all started because we decided to play a game…" She said wistfully, looking back on the day she and her friends first decided to play SBURB.

Chiaki listened intently, wanting to hear about the game. At least games were something easy for her to understand. If her appearence was from the cause of a game, it sounded like a sort of LARPing game.

"Well, you see, SBURB wasn’t what you would call…like other games." Jade continued, pausing to find the right word. "The closest thing I could compare it to is a really intense version of The Sims. And that is a huuuuuge understatement. It, uh, kind of triggered the apocalypse, in fact.”

Chiaki made a small “hmm” as she thought for a moment. She had played The Sims multiple times before, but it wasnt one of her favorites. If it was that kind of game, it didnt seem like fun. “….How did a game trigger… the apocalypse..?” She asked curiously.

Jade paused to think for a moment before shrugging "I'm not too sure myself, actually! All I know is that when your life is being threatened by a hell of a lot of meteors you don't stop to think about why they're there!"

"Nepeta..." Jade said, trying to recall something "Oh yeah! Karkat's talked about you a few times! Nice to meet you!"

  She nodded “I think so! It got me and me friends out of some pretty sticky situations at one point!” She laughed a little “How accurate were your fortune teller’s fortunes?”

Tilting her head back, she had to think about that. "Only..20%? Or, maybe it was 30%—Maybe.."

She tilted her head "And he's a prodigy?" She laughed a bit "Well, I suppose that's pretty good for just using crystal balls and stuff!""

  "Uuuum, not exactly! I actually used Dream Clouds!" She paused a second, she seemed to just remember that to Non-Sburb players the whole concept was pretty bizzare. "Hehe sorry, it’s a long story!" Jade said rather sheepishly.

She gave a blink of confusion, shaking her head in assurance that he ignorance of what dream clouds were wasn’t a bother. "Were they accurate fortunes..?"

She nodded "I think so! It got me and me friends out of some pretty sticky situations at one point!" She laughed a little "How accurate were your fortune teller's fortunes?"
