“i don’t know, nor do i care.” ava noted. “all i care about getting out of here and if another person tells me i can’t they’re gonna be in a world full of hurt.”

“nah, you’re not crazy.” the teenager spoke, giving the other a small smile as she listened to her words. she often thought about the same thing. it was an interesting thing, how life worked. “i believe in reincarnation and old souls and all that. “i like to think our souls all come from somewhere, no way could they be just brand new.”

“they give you clothes while staying here..? that makes this place even more odd..” ava muttered with a soft hum. “though the music is rather nice, it’s calming..in a way. but uh, welcome to america i guess.”

“Christ!” Ayano yelped as she placed a hand on her chest but not before she tucking away her cellphone that she’d been staring at for the past few minutes admiring the few pictures she had of her “future significant other” She missed them so much so she resorted to mindlessly looking at saved pictures of them while imagining her future. Unfortunately th bubble was popped by their presence.. “Is there something I can help you with?” 

ava didn’t quite know what to say as she watched the girl focus on the device in front of her, lips tugging into a slight grin as her attention was now focused on herself. “yeah..i just, need a drink from the water fountain and you’re standing in front of it.”

the brunette watched in silence as what appeared like younger kids entertained themselves, lips pursed to fight back a laugh. “yeah..looks like luck isn’t on your side buddy.”

upon hearing the others words, ava’s attention was quick to focus on the brunette. “you work here?” she asked calmly, approaching the other. “do you know where i can get some food that’s not..fair food.”

    “the ride’s closed for the next hour whilst i take a break.” josh mumbled as he was using his keys to lock everything up, finally turning to look at the person with a bright smile.  “i’ll be back soon, then you can can experience the ride of your life!! LITERALLY.” 

ava gave the man a sour look as she glanced between the ride and himself. she wasn’t going on any rides in this place. “i’ll pass.” she simply spoke, shoulders shrugging. “the last time i got on a ride, they told me i couldn’t leave this place so..don’t wanna get on another one and suddenly i’m a redhead.” she continued. “enjoy your break though.”

‘ right, i don’t exactly know what’s going on but it’s bloody creepy. over there are the enthusiasts that look a little too happy about this place, then if you look to the left of them, y'have the ones who look just as startled as myself. oh, and finally — in that corner just there is a kid with an eery smile. i’ve had enough. ‘

“i don’t trust this place.” ava simply stated, lips tugging into a tight purse as her brown hues scanned along the unsettling environment. “it gives off a bad vibe, a very bad vibe.”
