“Well if you’re ever in Beacon Hills you’ll see it. Because there’s a lot going on there.”

“I heard about the death toll there. You guys have some serious issues in your town.”

“I can do you one better. I’ll take a video of it and send it to you.”

Robin cackled. “That is better! I can’t wait to see his face!”

“Well weaponized banshee screams are more a thing you have to see to understand.” Lydia smiled a bit. “That would be pretty cool.”

“Well then maybe you should show me some time. I’d sure like to see it.”

“You him being a Batman fan is the reason he’ll be jealous that I met you first, right?”

“Duh. Tell me his reaction when you tell him I approve. I so wanna hear about it.”

“Sorta, only mine is more like…” She paused for a moment. “You know how sometimes when you’re doing contact sports and this big hulking guy comes barreling your way and you get run over? Yeah my screams are like that. Not all cool and super sonic.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever screamed like that...” He shrugged. “But you can still use it as a weapon, which is pretty cool. Maybe Black Canary could train you.”

“Yes, and yes. I can do this cool thing where I use my scream as a weapon.”

“Nice! You’re like Black Canary then!”

“Wake up! Wake up! It’s just a dream!” “What were you dreaming about…? You were shouting…” “I woke up because you were screaming so loudly.” “Shh– No, no, don’t panic, love. You’re safe now.” “It was so real! I swear! He/she was here!” “I don’t ever want to sleep again. What if– what if I dream about that again?” “If you tell me, it’ll go away. That’s what my mum/dad always told me and it’s never failed me.” “Do you want to go back to sleep, or shall I make you a cup of tea?” “I don’t want to go back to sleep…” “I’m so scared… I can’t stop seeing what I just saw. It was so vivid!” “There’s really nobody here, okay? Do you need me to show you around to prove that to you?” “How do I know I’m not still dreaming? You’re acting really strangely.” “Let’s get you to the shower, you’re covered in sweat.” “There’s really nobody else here.” “You’ve got a really bad fever. That must have caused those weird dreams.” “I don’t even know what a peaceful night’s sleep is like anymore.” “I can’t do this anymore. These nightmares have to stop…” “Shh, it was just a bad dream. I need coffee– no, I need a drink, a stiff one.” “How long have you been having these nightmares?” “I’ve had nightmares all my life, but they’ve been really bad recently.” “You get so worked up before you go to sleep, maybe you should try to relax a bit more. Maybe then you’ll get some rest?” “I’d kill for a peaceful night’s sleep.” “A dream catcher? Honestly? I’m not a child.” “Nothing’s ever helped this. I just need to learn to live with the fact that sleeping will always be a nightmare, literally.” “I’m so tired… but there’s no way I’m going back to sleep after that.”

“Because I’m a banshee. Basically I can feel and/or predict when people die or are about to die.”

“The ‘Wailing Woman’, right? Do you have a freaky cool scream?”

“Batman.” She says this without hesitation. “Although you and Spidey are very close seconds.”

“Good. Be sure to tell him that Robin approves...and that Superman’s a dick.”

“I mean I could if I knew how to fight. All I do is find the dead bodies.” Lydia pauses for a moment. “That sounded better in my head.”

“That...is slightly disturbing. How exactly do you find the dead bodies?”

“The next planned one is my birthday, in March. But I’m sure I’ll throw one around valentine’s day. Or next weekend.” Lydia grins. “Stiles is going to be so jealous.”

“Sweet! But I gotta know...” He crossed his arms. “Who is his favorite superhero? Be honest, Lydia.”

“Assuming he doesn’t kill you first. But yeah I can see why that’d be cool.”

“You’re friends with werewolves, right? I bet you could take Dracula on.”

“Oh it’ll be a piece of cake! You should come to the parties I throw, I’m really in my element there.”

“Send me an invitation and I’ll drop by some time. Maybe you can finally introduce me to this 'Stiles.'”
