I just realised it’s been about a year since I have been on here. In that time my ankle has finally healed, I have a new job, mental health is screwed, my relationship is failing and I’ve booked a trip to the USA for October...the good goes with the bad I guess. 

So today marks 3 months since I broke my ankle. I know everyone is probably sick of hearing about my damn ankle and I apologise 😜 this has been a long and hard 3 months and my recovery has been very slow but when I look back, I thought that getting this far was going to be almost impossible.

And this is why I’m still not walking, 11 weeks later.

Recovery is taking a lot longer than I thought it would, longer than the doctor thought it would and longer than everyone around me thought it would. The only people not surprised by the recovery time is other people who have broken their ankle and the physiotherapist. I'm trying my hardest. If I could I would be walking, I'm not still on crutches for shits and giggles so please stop asking why I'm still using them because the obvious answer is I can't walk yet...
