i was never a hardcore minecrafter but i had a singular obsession with building glass houses underwater .

july seventh, it's hot and the sky is completely cloudless . it seems i can't recall a july seventh that hasn't been hot and cloudless, regardless of the rest of the season being rainy or smoky . it's a holy day, you know .

they should invent a sunscreen that isn't agonizing to put on and wear . actually i bet rich people have sunscreen like this . it feels like nothing and offers 12x better protection . and it costs one million dollars .

i do love the looming spruce outside my window, but it blocks an hour or two of morning sunlight from the yard . and sunlight is a scarce resource around these parts....
