đşď¸ The Moment I Felt Truly Lost â and What It Taught Me
I was wandering the backstreets of a small town in Canada, map useless in my hand, phone nearly dead, and not a single person around who seemed to notice my confusion. For a moment, panic took over â I felt completely disconnected, small, and very far from anything familiar.
But after a few deep breaths, I slowed down. I looked around and started observing instead of stressing. I used hand gestures, a smile, and a little humility to ask for help â and surprisingly, the world responded with kindness. A local couple walked me to the nearest bus station and even gave me tips on where to go next.
That moment taught me something big: youâre never really lost when youâre open to being found.
Getting lost helped me connect more deeply â with the place, with people, and most importantly, with myself.
