FINAL THOUGHTS: I’ve been working on this idea for 5 years, it was intended to be a sign of maturity and growth as a storyteller. The film was fully finished over a year ago and I’ve been so busy over that time obsessing about film festival submissions, movie posters and arguing with PAID ARTIST James Cloyton and his son…last night was the first time I’ve actually watched the entire film all the way through in like 3 years. I got to admit that the guy I was when I made The Unbridled Few and the guy I am now must be so different as people because if I’m transparent with all of you…the film is totally fucking boring. I’m beginning to think those 38 festivals that rejected the movie had a great point…and it really calls into question the legitimacy of the three festivals that accepted it right??? Also how do IMDB and LETTERBOXD just let anyone post anything like this on their platforms without any pushback? Like I failed so badly crafting the theme and message that it seriously just seems like a bunch of stock footage bullshit that makes literally no sense. Oh well, you can’t win ‘em all right? Seriously don’t bother watching it, it kinda sucks. Shit, I don’t even like horses. FUCK HORSES.

CONCERNING THIS IMAGE AND THE TRAILER ITSELF: I’m still struggling to work with the Paid Graphic Design and Video Editing Company run by James Cloyton and his Son. There were several arguments concerning this, extremely overcrowded, announcement image and the very annoying edit of the trailer itself. I told James Cloyton to make the trailer based on my other work, once again this was a HUGE MISTAKE and now he refuses to do a second pass. Before you all ask me “Bob why didn’t you edit the trailer? IT LOOKS LIKE YOU MADE ALL THIS.” Well...I DIDN'T, mainly because I’ve been extremely busy making my follow up film HYPERBARAS, a movie about Capybaras, the most energetic rodents on earth. I know this all sounds completely fake but hopefully this trailer will legitimize this mess for you, I’m so proud of what we accomplished and I will not let James Cloyton and Son ruin what is easily my most sincere film effort ever.

CONCERNING THE LAURELS: I'm really glad PAID GRAPHIC DESIGNERS James Cloyton & His Son finally finished a poster I find acceptable, but now I'm in an email argument with them about removing all the laurels. I've explained several times you aren't supposed to put "NOT SELECTED" and "DISQUALIFIED" laurels on a poster and his son keeps saying "Everyone does it." I'm pretty sure no one does that. For now I'll just be happy with this gorgeous, one of a kind, absolutely stunning, official poster.

CONCERNING THE POSTER. No it's not the official one. After last week I contacted PAID GRAPHIC DESIGNER James Cloyton and his Son and asked them to make a much more reserved revision, one that invokes the sympathetic responsibility of the movie itself. THIS is what I got. I can't tell if that FAMILY tagline is just unfortunate wording or the Cloytons sending me a direct FUCK YOU.

YES, I KNOW, I'LL ADDRESS THE POSTER. After the absolute mess of a poster I was sent last week I contacted PAID GRAPHIC DESIGNERS James Cloyton and his son. I sent them well thought out and constructive revisions. I also told them perhaps it would help if they went and watched some of my other films to get a sense of who I am as a filmmaker for the next draft. I ADMIT THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A MISTAKE. The Ubridled Few is meant as a turning point in my creative life, a more mature side of myself for the world to see...and THIS is the poster I get? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS??? I really need to stress I DID NOT write those taglines. What the fuck is a FOALPOST?!?!?!

THIS IS STILL NOT THE OFFICIAL POSTER. You may remember last week I was pissed because James Cloyton, the graphic designer I paid to make our poster, sent me what was essentially a horse photo with simple text on it, SOMETHING I COULD HAVE DONE. After several emails he told me he addressed all my revisions and then sent me THIS. I did not ask him to just put "OFFICIAL POSTER" at the top, why the hell would I??? Also why the hell would I want the term "HORSE MOVIE" on our poster? Yes this movie is about horses but I don't want to call it "HORSE MOVIE." This frigging guy said this was THE FINAL IMAGE and he didn't even fill in the credits at the bottom! I get that the guy just had foot surgery but "OFFICIAL POSTER" is a blatant middle finger to me right?

CONCERNING THE POSTER, this is what the guy we paid, James Cloyton, sent me after like 17 emails begging him to finish. He was in the hospital for a foot infection, at one point his son called about James's foot problem and I was incredibly confused because why do I need to know all about his foot? THEN I get this emo horse picture with simple text and I'm like "DUDE I COULD HAVE DONE THIS" and James actually responds "Then why didn't you?"...so now I'm just trying to get our money back from him and he's fully stopped replying to my emails, and he's looking at his phone too, he posted a FOOT UPDATE on his THREADS feed. Don't hire this guy!

I REALLY NEED TO STRESS THIS IS NOT THE FINAL POSTER, the final is coming, the guy we paid to make the final has not been responding to my emails, I think he's sick, THIS ISN'T THE POSTER!
