Turtle's Side Yard

Anyway, hello! I'm Turtle (she/they)! This is a sideblog specifically for Backyardigans because I keep cluttering up my main account (@thetrueturtlegirl).

I've never made a sideblog before, nor have I ever made an organized blog period PFPFF-- so bear with me, as a lot of this will may be subject to change later (we'll see).

I'll be posting mostly my own Backyardigans related art, repost some other Backyardigans content, maybe post photos of my Austin plush-- maybe I'll put some fanmade "episodes" here too if I'm brave. We'll see!

And yeah-- turning myself into a Backyardigan-style character still feels a little weird even to me lol. I think she's just a proxy for me and less an actual Backyardigans character pfpff

This was based off of a screenshot edit of the opening scene in "Flower Power" that a couple friends had found on Pinterest (?)

In doing reverse image search though, the image was originally posted on Instagram by @/backyardigan.gang with the credit for creation attributed to @/austin.c.taylor :>

As for WHY Uniqua has a gun though, I couldn't tell you PFPFFF

I ended up doodling it because this edit became an emote in a server that I'm in and when asking for doodle requests in VC, this was one of them lol

This concept was borne from a discussion with a friend about the untapped potential for Backyardigans merchandise and eventually lead to talking about:
