Dearest Gentle Reader, you do not know me, and rest assured, you never shall, but be forewarned dear reader, I certainly know you...

THETONHQ is a tumblr based, OC mature roleplay inspired by Bridgerton and The Buccaneers. In this rp, people from all over come to London for the season to change their situations, fight off scandals and make connections of all kinds. Social ranking has never been more precarious with ambition changing the landscape and an anonymous writer doing all they can to expose everyone's secrets. Titles can be lost and gained but can you defy expectation and survive in this changing social scene that is filled with so many secrets ready to expose? We are a player-led group and all players determine group plots and how thetonhq is ran in a collaborative environment.

Inspired by: Bridgerton, The Buccaneers, Vanity Fair, The Gilded Age, Jane Austen and other period media.

I completely understand! Our older characters won't be looking for marriages for themselves unless they are widowed or divorced, but if you take one of the open matriarch / patriarch slot, there are plenty of plots! Some could be trying to sabotage the matches to keep their control of the family, or maybe they want to find a way to influence society themselves, a sort of Lady Danbury type!
