Have land tokens ever been approached by design? Is it too similar to Eldrazi spawn tokens? Or is there just no flavor for the representaion of lands as tokens? Might be a way of getting Barry's land into print (as a token). Though, I'm not too sure it would work well with cards like coalition victory. Regardless, It seems as if there might be some design space there.

We’ve actually explored it a few times. We always worry that it will be too hard to tell which lands been tapped.

I’ve been trying to experiment a bit with it as well, I don’t know about playtesting them, but I figure that using something kinda like the counter chits form Amonkhet that could be used to represent that this token has been tapped could be useful if Land Tokens were implemented. Then again, if you had a set with few tokens, and with only one type of land token, it would be much easier to maintain. Personally, I would look into playtesting using tap chits and seeing if that might help with land tokens.

Looking up stuff about ocd and intrusive thoughts and I guess having a bunch of perverted, violent, homicidal, anti-social, irrational, paranoid, or self-harming thoughts and urges isn’t the problem, it’s being disturbed by them and not actively enjoying them or not being okay with them or finding them unacceptable is what’s wrong. Trying to get rid of them is wrong. Trying to not have them is wrong. Not embracing them is wrong.

It says to just accept that you have these thoughts and don’t try to self-examine for any underlying problems that these thoughts may be signaling. Just don’t think too hard about it because it might upset you, and being upset is the problem. Not your sense of morality coming into question. Not the possibility of bad coping skills, a personality disorder, or underlying trauma. Nope. You’re valid no matter what, even if you’re a disgusting, violent person with a dangerous personality, I guess.

TL;DR- Being a bad and immoral person is fine as long as you’re okay with it.

This explains, in horrific detail, what has been going on in the world as of late. Though honestly, the fact that you know those intrusive thoughts to be wrong is imho what someone needs to do to actually cope with such, instead of just giving into doing horrific stuff. I’ve had very weird thoughts go through my brain, from thoughts of becoming a killer of the depraved, but the idea of murder disgusts me. I believe that it is more moral for a person to have to actually fight the urge to do wrong, than for someone to simply not feel that urge as well. It isn’t easy, but through the connections made with others, I can fight the darkness within me. As for perverted stuff though, welcome to 2016, whatever you are into is probably tame compared to what people are seeking to push as the next big thing probably.

Do you go out to lunch during the week rather than brown bag it? Do you make unnecessary purchases? Do you go out to movies, etc.? If you are doing any of these things then you are putting your own needs and desires above those of your Master.

The needs and desires of your Master always come first. It’s OK to make mistakes. Mistakes are part of life. Just always strive to improve your service to superior men. If you owe your Master an apology for not being the best slave you can be then do so and move on.
