yes i know plurality has nothing to do with dissociative disorders and was coined thousands years before the concept of dissociative disorders.

1. Plurality exists and has always existed far beyond the narrow scope of a colonial medicalized lense. Denying/Ignoring/Invalidating cultural/spiritual/Indigenous knowledge and presentations of plurality is inherently racist.

2. Not everyone who experiences plurality has or meets the criteria for CDD/DID/OSDD.

3. Having separate/multiple altered states of consciousness alone does not meet the criteria for a DID/OSDD diagnosis.

4. The ICD itself mentions forms of non disordered plurality within the section of the boundaries with normality threshold.

People's grounds for being "anti-endo" usually make no fucking sense. It's like saying therians aren't real. It's like saying trans people are delusional. It's like saying any other weird brain phenomenon related to your identity is made up.

Some people experience feeling like multiple people. Some people experience having multiple identies in one body. These experience don't need to have ANYTHING to do with disorders of any kind. They just- happen sometimes. Like every weird brain phenomenon related to your identity ever.

Why is it so unbelievable to be multiple people? When other's identify as literal animals and objects and concepts, is it somehow so radical to be plural?

Thinking to be multiple, one must have a dissociative disorder, is like saying to be an animal, one must suffer from clinical zoanthropy. Have you ever considered our brains just... do stuff because they're weird, and not because they're broken?
