He is nothing special, just a simple little gardener doing simple little work tryna live a simple little life.
he's a charming little fellow, tries to stay as positive as possible, believes he needs to be happy, cause if he shows any emotion people would call him pathetic.
he's a simple little flower fellow, what could he possibly do wrong.
but little do you know, that he doesn't keep that smile on his face forever, he absolutely hates it when people destroy his flowers, whenever someone does, it's almost as if something is tryna break Free from his body, and he's desperately tryna keep it in by staying positive.
but after a while of still destroying flowers, all that positivity fades and his anger is released, his dark side shows and his hatred that he calls Vinnie the killer takes over, most people who come across this version of Vinnie usually don't make it out alive.
However, once the job is done, he breaks down, What has he done, he's a monster, he didn't mean to, why did he do that.
you see behind all that happiness and positivity remains a tragic story.... but he's too sensitive to reveal it. and anytime you mention the one who made him feel like he did matter, it only hurts him worse.
velvet, another gardener, She was a damsel, a very popular individual around the garden world, eventually one day, she met Vinnie, and she ended up falling in love with him, but Vinnie always asked himself, why. vinnie was nothing, he believed he was useless, pointless, unworthy of love from someone like her, and there were so many better people velvet could have chosen, so why him.
but it didn't matter, because despite feeling like he didn't deserve it, he did his best to love her anyways.
With there love, the two made the garden world feel magical, they brought hope and light to a place that had none, and for once in his life, vinnie actually felt happy.
until one day, something or someone, poisoned velvet, she fell sick, and everyday, Vinnie tried his best to care for her, but it all mattered not, because eventually, she died, withered away like an uncared for flower.
vinnie cried to himself everyday, blamed himself for what happened, he could have done better, he should have done better, everyday he believed himself useless, and once again, he proved himself right.
but then one day, A man, a strange lying man spoke through a flower, told him stuff about his life, and it made vinnie realize something, something that would haunt him for the rest of his life.
No, he couldn't do More, the death of velvet, everything was all a part of a story, and all Vinnie is was nothing but a meaningless actor, who was destined to lose everything that he ever loved or ever loved him so he could become the villain of everyone else's story.
Vinnie wasn't just horrified, he was pissed, he swore to this man that he would escape this stage that he is strung in and will not only reach the other side, but will see the love of his life again.
and the man laughed, saying, to do something like that, he would need a lightner soul, and getting that would be impossible.
but Vinnie didn't care, he was desperate to escape, to see her again, and he would do anything it took to get his hands on a lightner soul.
even if it meant recreating it, with darkner souls.
And creating light with darkness is impossible, but for someone who was desperate and mentally unstable, it didn't come across their mind, and that made them dangerous.
