Oh, messy life...

I literally haven’t posted in such a LOOONG time, and people are still starting to follow me..?

They all just get bored of me. 

Maybe I’m just lame.

So I’ve been hanging out with this girl for the past couple of weeks. She’s super cute, has a good sense of humor, pretty much my type of girl. Well yesterday we went out to eat. She’s a SUPER picky eater so I was trying to ask her what she wanted to eat. Appetizer = plain fries. After we drove back to her house, she tells me she didn’t actually want fries. Ok? So we hang at her place and the whole time she’s talking to me, but constantly on her phone. She is a text fiend...I tried not to think about it.

After a couple of hours it was getting pretty late, I had to work in the morning. We were sitting on her couch, she was laying across while her feet were touching my thigh (she was to the left of me). I said it was time for me to go, and she just waved her hand. I’m sorry but come one now, get up and give me a hug! I felt like I had ruined the night somehow. She didn’t seem interested in me or something. I got back to my place feeling like a fucking loser. To top it all off...on Facebook it says she just got into a relationship. It didn’t say who with, but at the time I was feeling so bad that I was about to cry. I’ve hung out with girls who have fueled false dating goals. It wouldn’t be the first time if she would have said “Oh yeah I have a boyfriend by the way so yeah.”

Was at work today, I was doing my usual routine; Helping customers find whatever they wanted, greeting people, all that jazz. My manager comes up to me, “Hey we forgot to schedule someone to put out bread, can you do it for us?” I fucking hate doing that. Not only is it pretty hard, but it’s literally someones job to do that. They get paid more than me to put out bread, but I hold off on saying anything of the sort and agree to do it. One hour into doing it and my manager comes back up to me, “Hey I know you're doing this but can you also put out some of the frozen food in the fridges, they need some help in that department.” Again, I agree...but then I realize something.

I’m doing three jobs, 2 of which other people get paid MORE THAN ME to do. I’m greeting customers and helping them, putting out bread, and running frozen foods. I wasn’t mad yet, but as I was putting out bags of mixed vegetables in the fridge my manager comes back at me. “Hey how long is it going to take you to do this, we need you back up front?” This is when I got pissed.

I calmed myself down before talking, “You want me to run frozen food, stock bread, and maintain the front end. I’m sorry that the people who get paid to do this didn’t show up, but that’s not my fault.” He was confused “Well if you don’t get this done you know what happens?” Now I was really pissed “I don’t know. But this isn’t my job. I’m happy to help you, but if I get in trouble for doing SOMEONE ELSE’S JOB I’m just going to call the union because this is bullshit.”
