Flamewave quickly went back to her home. She’s quickly met by her two adopted sons, Sideswipe and Wildbreak. Flamewave walked past them. Not even in the mood to greet her adopted heirs. She sat down, deep in thought, as her sons talked about their day at the Autobot Academy. Flamewave cuts in.
“How would you both feel if Knockout is to carry a ligetamet heir-”
Wildbreak smiled happily. While Sidewipe cringed.
“As if I'd want to take care of a little brat!”
Flamewave sighed, knowing this was a very delicate matter. She stood up.
“The empire needs an heir, so you both will just have to live with it. Now go out for a bit. I need to talk with Kockout"
Wildbreak nodded happily while Sideswipe rolled his optics and walked off.
Not long after, Knockout came home after a mission with the Autobots. He saw Flamewave waiting for him. Her tail flicked in agitation, but relaxed once she saw her sparkmate. How walking over to hold his servos.
“I was thinking about what you said this morning and”
“A not-so-fun meeting with Predaking. It is logical to have a child”
Knockout smiled but then paused
“But I want you to actually want this…not just because it’s logical or it’s a must”
Flamewave pauses but just nods.
She half lied. She did want an heir for this empire. She didn't want to even think of what kind of child would be brought into this world. She held Knockout close. Not wanting him to read her thoughts. She hates to think this way. To think like her old sire, Shockwave. Yet, this is the most logical solution. Knockout spoke softly.
“Thank you, Flame. I can't wait to see this family complete.”
Flamewave held him closer. Almost protectively.
Months would pass, and Knockout would come back home with a big smile. Data pad in servos. Flamewave turned to him. She stood up.
“How was the check-up with Ratchet?”
Knockout smiled as he put his servo to his chest. Posing dramatically.
Flamewave put a servo on his abdomen. Her optics now calculating. She kissed his cheek. Already knowing how to react to this news.
“Im so glad. This sparking will be a treasure”
Knockout giggled happily and hugged her.
As the months would go by. Knockout would stay home while Flamewave seemed to work harder on making this empire perfect for the next heir. She wouldn't want to admit it. She has grown more protective since Knockout was carrying. She would come home, always checking his condition. Yet again, Knockout made her show emotions. Even now.
Everything was going fine till word had spread about a one opticed bot caught by the empire. Flamewave and Predaking were the first to see. They both knew who it was. Flamewave looked at the cell.
“I am glad to see my creations have made such an empire. Fasianting…”
Flamewave scoffed as she saw Shockwave. Still emotionless as ever. Predaking spoke.
Shockwave walked over to the bars to stand closer. He looked to Flamewave.
“I know about sparking, you are having Knockout carry-”
Flamewave grabs his throat through the bars.
“And if you lay an optic on them, I will surpass my programming and rip that optic out!”
“We both know I'm the only mech who knows how to deal with Predacon sparklings. Logically, you would need me to help.”
Flamewave let go and turned away. Now annoyed. Predaking huffed.
“You wish for something in return?”
“I left a sparking in the mountain not too long ago. A failure of mine. I need you to send the autobots to it”
Flamewave looked to him. While Predaking just agreed.
“Flamewave, this is a sibling of ours, and he is willing to do all of this for them and for your sparkling to come. Let us trust him this once-”
“LIKE HOW WE TRUSTED HIM THE FIRST TIME?”
“He fixed that mistake. Flame…”
Flamewave looked at them both. She scoffed.
“Fine, you shall do it. I will be in the room for all of this, AND I wish to meet this new half-breed sibling of mine”
Flamewave walked off. Now, leaving fate to decide if she had made the right choice.
