A new life!

THE SOUNDTRACK LIFE is being revamped, y'all.

This blog was originally created as part of my journalism class in 2012. But now, I will now use it as a medium for my past and future adventures (especially in music), my friends, my family, and everything in between. But it will all have a common theme: music.

Music has been the most substantial part of my life, like many of you, and I find that most of my greatest and memorial adventures had music in its core, and it's something I want to share with all of you.

One big thing coming up is that I'm heading out on the road with my friends in The Maxies, Suburban Legends, and Reel Big Fish this January as I work the mech booth on the "Don't Stop Skankin' Tour 2014" and I'm going to post my adventures and photos on here for all of you guys.

BREAKING NEWS: Disco Queen Donna Summer succumbs to Cancer

Another tragic day in the music world as it was announced that Donna Summer, the voice of "Last Dance" and other disco hits, has died this morning at the age of 63 due to her battle with Cancer.

I don't care who you are: a punk rock kid from NYC, a country boy from Alabama, or a CEO of a huge company....you know her music. You had one of her songs stuck in your head. You can't deny it: it was catchy, danceable, and fun. Not to mention Ms. Summer can sing like no one else. She is undeniably the Queen of Disco.
