WHAT WAS THAT-

I got maybe three things to talk about from

Ep. 115 [The Last Chapter]

I’m so concerned about what’s happening with Lizzie, who the mole is let’s just talk about it.

1. All of us would normally think it would be John because he worked at the Navy, and he was so inspired by Lizzie that maybe there could be some change. Cass on the other hand scares me, because it’s an automatic betrayal. Thinking about if he is the mole that wouldn’t make sense. He didn’t have to save Lizzie when Ava was killed, but he did. He worked on Captain Shadow Beard’s crew, and depending on how old he was, I mean it could be possible, but there would’ve been no reason for Lizzie to be alive. The lines don’t connect if that word be, where would he have done that ever so quickly and why would his loyalty change? People down in the under seat are working with R.A.F.T. 

2. It would make sense that Drey didn’t want to face his family. But I feel like he should’ve confronted his brother and his mom. I think that would kind of complete his arc in the way of the family, but it also makes sense that he wants to be there for his found family, his brothers in arms and how they took them in everything else was wrong and he felt like he didn’t have a place in the family. I think it was also right to have him by Chip’s side. But also makes me concerned about how many family members are needed and knowing what Jay knows now it’s gonna be difficult and she doesn’t know if she’s going to confront her father again because of what it’s happening to her mother. 

3. WHAT WAS THAT GRIZZY!!! WHAT DO YOU HAVE BREN PLANNING??!?!??

I am so concerned about Chip, I get that no one remembers what happens in the whole but what this voice said I don’t like it. It’s haunting and it’s definitely the most terrifying known to hear such words.



What’s start in order

1. I wasn’t expecting Eden to be the spy. I thought John was probably going to, but it makes next to sense and to no sense because doublecrossing for both is like really crazy to think about. I wasn’t really thinking that she would double cross but she’s been missing for a long time since we couldn’t find her before the hole in the sea arc so you know I think it’s strange but I feel like Eden needs to tell us why and hopefully she’s in the under sea right now because the undersea arc is crazy and finally getting to the under sea a little more is gonna be exciting

2. I’m so disappointed. I didn’t want Drey to stay there at all. Arin did not deserve that neither but I don’t want Drey to take his place like that’s not fair and he doesn’t have arms right now from wherever he is. I hope to God his freaking legs aren’t broken, I want my old man gunslinger to be OK you know. Jay‘s grandma scares the shit out of me. I was fully expecting her to figure it out and I was praying to God the whole time the very first section of like I hope they’re not listening. I feel bad for Jay‘s dad because he was just a lobotomized and he’s taking care of his wife making sure she’s okay despite being sick. And being lobotomize because “you were so sad your fucking daughter died” is so messed up. The went so hard choosing Jay‘s family and grandma cause I know she was somewhat ripped. I didn’t have to think about the tournament how her grandma looks right now that’s fucking terrifying. And Lizzie having a grave her captain and her love is so it hurts my heart so bad I’m not lie. Your sister‘s grave is crazy.

3. Between the relationship of Chip & Arin fucked me up that episode. The still “ you’re my son and nothing going to change that” fucked me up so hard. I was sobbing my eyes out. I’m so glad he laughed as soon as he got out, but my God all of that was emotional.

To the newer episodes and questions

They need to make sure that Lizzie is OK because I don’t want her to die. She’s my favorite pirate and pirate Lord honestly like I don’t want her to die her getting hit by the meteor was crazy.  I like the narrative standpoint of chip having newer, tattoos and finally getting his body back. I love the whole skeleton look, but I need him to have some muscle at some point and I’m glad he’s taking as much choices in life as he is right now.

I feel bad for Gillian and I feel bad. I don’t know if they’re ever gonna bring his parents up because during his nightmares we got to hear his parents and you know like I’m just waiting for his parents to show up in the courts or then visiting if he gets put in prison because he got exiled and is returning, essentially you know.

She needs to get a new leg. It’s not going well and I feel like she’s not going to be the same. None of them are technically the same but it’s just getting rough with everybody. Trauma goes around I guess but there’s a lot.

A lot of people know about the very first piece he did when he left the post which was the The Problem We All Live With which depicts Ruby Bridges walking to school under federal protection.

But I don’t think enough people know about Murder in Mississippi which depicts three real civil rights activists who were murdered by the Ku Klux Klan and sherriffs. The magazine ran the sketch instead of the finished piece because they felt it had a more striking statement to accompany the article. Norman Rockwell would finish that version after publication which is here

Rockwell’s legacy is sanitized because he decided to maintain his job at the Post for so long despite his frustrations with not being able to express himself. The civil rights movement was just his final straw to change what he could with the little time he had left. Look magazine received a lot of hate for Rockwell painting these as well.

Another favorite piece of mine is The Right to Know which depicts an integrated populace questioning their government. In 1968, the year of Vietnam and the year the Fair Housing Act only just got signed in months prior:

But I think it’s important to include the caption Rockwell originally wrote for the piece as well. I think it represents how a 74 year old Rockwell felt about the America he believed in and the people in it:

likely the most famous picture of a Thanksgiving dinner ever painted and you see it all the time.

What you may not know is its actual title

“Freedom From Want” it’s a part of a series of 4, including this now famous meme

“Freedom of Speech” These paintings were illustrations of FDR’s “Four Freedoms” speech where The President laid out a vision that would become what the Allies were fighting for in WWII universal human rights that became a part of the UN charter.

So this homey American Thanksgiving scene was also a bold statement that no one in the world should go hungry

Tubeheader is the lead singer, their headset is a Television which is active during shows, displaying surreal imagery.

Micheader is the backup vocalist and bassist, her headset is a surround mixing microphone (a piece of professional equipment used in music production as an "on wearer" music studio for an especially skilled chrome-neck audio engineer).

Deckheader is the guitarist, his headset is a Tape Deck, which sometimes plays sampled sections during performances.
