The Shadows of Evil

Here is part seven of the set of photos/videos I have taken at the corpse bride panel that was held and I like box expo in 2025 in Pasadena, California. This video shows the animation tests of the corpse, bride herself, and bonejangles for sure. This one features never before an admission tests plus a few that we have seen before.

Here’s part six of the set of pictures that I took at the corpse bride panel that was held at the light box expo of 2025 in Pasadena, California. Here, we see a few pictures of the corpse bride herself, and the animators shooting an animation test about her walking with her long wedding dress on and with her wedding veil billowing in the wind. It comes with the video that showed the test themselves. You’d be amazed by how they were done for it showed the animation of the bride and bonejangles. 

Here’s part seven of the set of storyboards for sequence 9 of The Black Cauldron. We now got to see what happens when Gurgi threw himself into the Cauldron. The cauldron exploded, which caught the Horned King’s attention. He ran towards the cauldron and the captives and tried to reactive the cauldron’s powers.

Then comes how the Horned King’s demise came out. While the king was trying to activate the cauldron, Taran swung from the beam using a rope which distracted the Horned King, leading to him falling into the cauldron and being burned up by it and having his image disappearing into smoke. That then leads to our heroes running out of the collapsing castle and climbing aboard a boat so that they would move out of it. Luckily, Doli joined up with them. Should that be kept in the film, it would have had Doli redeem himself from ditching Taran and his friends who got captured by the Horned King’s henchmen. We did not see what became of Creeper and the Gwythaints, though.

Here is part five of the set of pictures I took of the corpse bride panel at the light box expo in Pasadena. Here we see more photos of the puppets being built for the film. Puppets for characters like the Corpse Bride herself, Scraps, Victor, the dead denizens, Barkis Bittern and Emil the butler. The rest of these shows the shooting of the scenes from the film. It helps to see how they manipulated the puppets in preship for shooting them as a way using the stop-motion animation technique. looking at them even recognized the scenes that were filmed.

Here is part six of the set of storyboards for sequence nine of the black cauldron, and we got to see Taran, Eilonwy, and Fflewddur, trying to set themselves free. But here’s something that happened which did not happen in the film: Doli showed up and he used his axe to cut the ropes that tied them them. This led to Taran being free from the bonds and the same was done to Eilonwy and Fflewddur later on. But then Taran climbed up the walls and onto the beams that were looming over the Cauldron. Then we see Gurgi showed up while Doli was setting the three free. He then climbs up and stops Taran from throwing himself by having himself do it.
