First of all, and most importantly to this blog's M.O, Capcom Fighting Evolution is canon.

So the Kunimitsu trailer dropped and, as usual, it has interesting implication

We've known since Tekken 7 that this is the daughter of the original Kunimitsu, but we're learning more about her, that she's a Student Council rep at her school.

She's the Vice President and is trying to recruit Reina, maybe trying to recruit a gang of fighters/ninjas for some reason? We don't know!

The junior Kunimitsu's father trained Raven. So does that mean her clan is connected to whatever the Ravens are? Does that mean her father trained the original Kunimitsu, her mother (and all the unhealthy implications therein)? Again, we don't really know.

Alex is in the news for uhhhhh reasons. We're not going to mope about that. Instead, we're going to theorycraft about another character, another wrestler in Capcom, Haggar. Above, we can see him wrestle Alex. Because we here in the Ryuverse HQ surmise Ingrid used her god powers to create a fighting playground, thus pulling the fighters from their primes, we can assume this is prime Haggar vs Prime Alex

One can surmise that the first tournament takes place in Southtown, primarily because of the presence of Geese Tower

There is one ending in the first game, and it shows Dan and Joe having won the tournament, with your team going to fight Bison or Geese. Despite them winning the tourney, I feel like the story would center around Southtown natives like Terry and be more SNK centric

So Fatal Fury is getting a collab story with Street Fighter characters next Thursday. The story appears to heavily feature JP.

And features Capcom deepcuts like Final Fight 3's Carlos Miyamoto

But I think the main event will be KAGE TERRY
