- Being able to rest with you. He's an overthinker, even when it comes to resting

- He constantly wonders to himself if he's doing things right. Having you there to reassure him and bounce ideas with him makes Nathan feel much more confident about making big decisions for the band when Pickles is busy

- Reminding him to wear his glasses. Most of the time, he doesn't bother to unless the situation really calls for it

- Speaking of glasses, when he's in public with you and he can't see something , you become his glasses. ( When in private, he'll awkwardly tell you that you did a good job and that he loves you )

SKWISGAAR

- sharing

- straight up, just sharing anything

- Skwisgaar doesn't like sharing much of anything at all- you're the exception

- He secretly loves handing you sweets from his plate and watching your face light up when your eyes land on his fork (he pretends like it isn't a big deal, but it definitely is)

- He loves breaking pastries in half just to give the other piece to you

- Skwisgaar has a sense of pride whenever you thank him. He pretends like it's nothing (it's going to be on his mind for weeks)

PICKLES

- lazing around with you

- Pickles loves preparing the living room just for the two of you to watch on the various screens hooked up on the ceiling, snacks, blankets, and all

- if you're up for it, he'll gladly rewatch movies you've both seen a dozen times before

- does the trick where he pretends to yawn so he can wrap his arm around you ( does it because it makes you laugh every single time )

TOKI

- kisses!!

- pecks on the cheek, forehead kisses, butterfly kisses, Toki loves them all!!

- Especially quick pecks on the cheek when you need leave the room

- More than once, Skwisgaar has to tell him to pay attention during practice all because you kissed him

- Toki thinks kisses on the lips are the specialist of them all. He'd rather kiss you on the lips in private rather than in public

MURDERFACE

- listening to him

- due to how often he's overlooked in the band, he doesn't have anyone to share his thoughts with

- that was until you came into the picture

- William absolutely adores you. He knows that you won't ridicule him or cut him off when he's explaining battle facts or ideas he has for his own independent projects

- He also likes laying his head on your shoulder, but he tries playing it off as him being 'tired' from touring

- He tries to act tough but if you kiss him on the bridge of his nose his face will go entirely red (I'm talking about looking away and murmuring to himself type shit)

CHARLES

- calling each other

- even with how chaotic the boys are, Charles still tries to keep a consistent schedule so he can call you at the same times everyday

- Unsurprisingly, being Dethklok's manager is a time-consuming job

- Knowing that you're at home waiting for him with open arms makes him feel better

- He likes hearing you ramble about whatever over the phone whenever he has the time to call you

- On the rare occasion where he has nothing else to do, he often replays the voice messages you leave in his inbox, listening intently as if you were right in front of him. He misses you. A lot

Nathan Explosion

A cuddler. I have no proof it's just a gut feeling.

He's a diehard big spoon though. He thrives off looking down and seeing his s/o there in his arms...

Christ he's such a sap under those layers upon layers of brutal bullshit.

He's a guy who likes routine too. So, once you've slept with him enough it's a pattern he relies on your presence.

Spoiler: you better have a good reason if you're skipping out on nightly cuddles.

Overall a big teddy bear he's a cutie.

Pickles the Drummer

This guy is all over the place. A complete mess if you will.

Your nightly routines consist of making sure he's in bed, first of all.

He has a tendency of just passing out wherever. It's not too awful but about once a week you're going to have to hunt him down and find him face down in his own vomit in a hallway.

Due to this his s/o will grow a subconscious habit of a night time self care routine? Of sorts?

Getting him decently clean before bed just kinda becomes a thing.

And yknow what. He appreciates it!

He loves being doted on.

I think he cuddles but not a big Spooner.

He likes laying on his partner's chest or vice versa.

It's nice listening to your heartbeat, it's soothing. And on the flipside having you lay on him is like having a weighted blanket.

It's the shit for him!

Skwisgaar Swigelf

While I'm not the biggest believer of the whole Skwisgaar having like a 100 step self-care routine.

I do think he has one.

Just nothing insane. He does care on a small level. But one expensive face wash with benzol peroxide and a face mask every now and then is about it.

And you are absolutely being dragged into this. He holds his self image to a high standard and you are a part of that.

Now the actual issue is getting him to bed.

Sometimes he gets too caught up in his composing and practicing he neglects some basics to self preservation.

Just gently remind him it's good for him and to his benefit and you can get him to give in without much struggle. Mostly.

Sometimes he's adverse to touch. Nothing personal it's just a lot to him sometimes.

But he always need to be facing you in bed. If anything you need to be the last thing he sees before he shuts off his mind.

Toki Wartooth

Cuddles. 10000%

He doesn't care how, just that he needs it.

He is also a man of routine but in the sense that he has rituals.

He does things a certain way, and in a certain order.

If you follow his routine with him he'll love you until the world combusts. But he also understands if you have your own thing, just don't disrupt his.

He also can't sleep without you and it deeply upsets him if you can't.

You will have to make up for it with LOTS of cuddles later.

personal headcanon alert.

I think he has insomnia.

Due to a mix of paranoia and night terrors he does not get a lot of sleep.

He can have periodic naps during the day but that's it.

Though once he's dating someone, like, actually dating someone, he tries to fix his sleep schedule.

Going to bed with him always starts with a movie, he needs the background noise.

He'll keep it on a low volume if it bothers you, but you can not make him give up his diy asmr.

He likes holding his partner, and I think their weight helps him calm down enough to try and rest.

That does not mean it always works though. But he enjoys you being their and humoring him nonetheless.

If you curl up with him for a nap though, you basically have his hand in marriage.

Charles Offdensen

His sleep schedule is garbage, but you best believe he's making sure you get your full 9 hours.

Obviously, he won't overstep. You are an adult and capable of making decisions and taking care of yourself.

But you may notice subtle nudges if you start slacking. Say you are busy with work at home, he might persuade you to take a five-minute breather. Come lay in the bed with him. No, he did not light a lavender candle, yes, the weighted blanket is necessary, of course he's going to massage his sweetheart's shoulders, don't look too deep into it.

Of course he is a massive hypocrite, and brushes all of his partners concern off when it comes to his habits.

That does not mean he is completely unable to reason with though, especially if they're wanting to go to bed with him.

When it comes to cuddling, he is neutral on it. If it's something you want, then sure.

— He does not tolerate much pda. He has a reputation to uphold, and his sweet mate hanging off his arm paints a far less intimidating picture of the self-proclaimed emperor. Unfortunately, his tail doesn’t seem to get the memo, as it’s always draped over your lap or coiled around your wrist, waist, or ankle when you’re near.

— It takes time for Frieza to see you as a person instead of a possession, but you grow on him (like a tumor). He is unused to garnering a relationship that doesn’t revolve around fear and submission.

— Frieza is keen to remind you that you only live because he allows it, but you both know better. He does not keep people around for no reason, and his mass culling of lower-ranked peons is proof of that. 

— You’re at his side because he wants you there, even if he’ll never admit to that.

— Frieza does not miss people beyond their usefulness, as is in his nature. Not necessarily culturally or even genetically, as his bloodline are considered mutants among their kind. No, this behavior was taught and nurtured by King Cold. A peon was only ever as important as their role in making his life simpler, easily disposed and easily replaced.

— And then there was you. Soft, warm, and infuriatingly comforting. For a while, he couldn't place the fluttery, mildly nauseating feeling you encited in him. He had no concept of softness, all of which he dubbed "coddling." To be looked upon with admiration untempered by fear is deeply unsettling, and addicting.

— Your praise is given freely, without expectation or ulterior motive. It's in your best interest to gain his favor, as who can truly offer you more than the universe's exalted overlord? Unfortunately, your "primitive mammalian brain" disregards that fact, content instead with the raising of his browbone, or the colors his ivory complexion blooms.

— Frieza requires no fanfare from someone so insignificant, but he gets attached to your reckless flattery all the same. He is nothing but vain, after all, and you—poor thing—are always so painfully sincere. By all means, shower your emperor in the attention he deserves.

— That is to say, he'll grow to expect your constant praise for every little thing he does. Not that he cares for your opinion... that would be absurd.

— You are adored and righteously feared by the Frieza Force. Their leader is in a better mood when you’re around but if he hears of anyone treating you less than worshipful, they know they’ll be reduced to a crimson spatter for the servants to scrape off the walls.

— You’d think Frieza would be stiff or scoff at the idea of physical affection, but you have one very important advantage over his instinct to recoil: you’re warm-blooded. Which might seem insignificant to you, but to a cold-blooded ice-jin? irresistible. 

— He is drawn into your orbit by your body heat, subconsciously standing closer than he intends. When you lay down to rest for night cycle, he is inseparable from you. Anyone who interrupts this nightly ritual of aggressive cuddling will be obliterated on the spot, and I mean literally reduced to a pile of smoking soot in the doorway.

— You make trips back to his home planet every now and then, walking down the crystalline, frozen beaches and attending political balls to talk shit about everybody there.

— Frieza does not share. Once you are ‘mated,’ you are his just as he is only yours. Though his father had many concubines, he is a one-partner frost demon. He is easily made jealous, and doing so intentionally is a dangerous game for you and your conspirators. 

— He’ll gripe that your flowery words make him want to vomit, pretending to be annoyed when you say something profound, but if you squint you can see his face turning red.
