Exciting news, friends. We at GB Patch Games are announcing a brand new project. It’s called “XOXO Droplets: The Visual Novel”! You play as the no-default-name-having protagonist who gets to live out her dream of attending a fancy boarding school. There she ends up being forced to participate in mandatory after school meetings with six other students. It’s a special group for those deemed ‘unfriendable’. Luckily all of the jerks are attractive dudes! And since they’ve got such bad attitudes, no one else wants them. All she’s gotta do is pick a boy and her ridiculous high school romance will be begin.

What a unique and never before heard of concept. I mean, technically, there’s some other game already out that’s kind of similar. But this is a Visual Novel and that is a Simulator/Point Management game. That means they are different.

Haha, you thought this was a joke, but it’s actually real.

We’ve had many requests for a way to play XOD without any gameplay at all. Unfortunately, the original XOD wasn’t built with that possibility in mind. The gameplay is the core of the build and can’t be entirely turned off or skipped without making the game unplayable. We’d have to pull out the script and put it into a totally separate build. The time for that has come. We are honestly going to release a new version of XOXO Droplets that plays as a pure VN with updated visuals. The two games will be sold separately, but anyone who has already bought the dating sim version will be able to claim a free copy of the VN version.

Our focus is still on promoting new projects, so most of the updates for this game will be going on our Patreon. If you want to see the new assets and eventually get early access to the beta-build, please consider supporting us there!
