Letter to Nana
Dearest Nana, Today has been especially trying. Today I have tried to bury myself in work in an attempt to keep my heart in check. But it was really useless since every break I had throughout the day thoughts and memories of you flood my mind. We miss you so much. But we are doing very well, as well as we can manage. Rafael is doing great 1000x better since he moved up this past September. His GPA is much much better. Still not to standards but moving in the right direction. But you know this already. A few other developments family wise though. As you prolly know today is also my eldest niece's bday. However, due to some family constraints as well as issues. The only thing I could do was text her mother. No answer so far. Tracy she's mad at me for something so trivial. Uncle Bert had a scare but he is doing fine. As for me well you already know I miss you terribly but I know you're looking down on us and protecting us. I still wish you were here. But that's me being selfish. I know you're in a better place. A place where you can better effect our lives. At any rate I just wanted to tell you I miss and think about you everyday. We love and miss you! Love always Marlin and Rafael
