"Well, of course. Thats basically their job descriptions. But I mean…did you help them? Were they the ones who killed you?"

"No. I did not help them. I tried to stop them. I told them they were wrong, but they didn't listen. Not like I expected anything." She looked down sadly. "They did not kill me. I wish they had."

"So," Bela said, slightly sympathetic. "Are you going to tell me what they did to you, exactly?"

"I told you. They interfered with my affairs, they disrupted my siblings, and they were general annoyances to the world." Rachel scowled.

"Quite." Bela said, fingering her jacket cuff. "I died because they didn’t help me." Though that wasn’t really the truth, and Bela knew it. Still, they could have tried…….

"You shared the same fate as many. They refuse to help more than they do, and when they chose to help, they often interfere and make everything worse for everybody." Rachel rolled her eyes at the memory of their past.

"Lots. Stole from them, almost got them killed, got them arrested. But once in awhile, I helped." Said Bela quietly. 

Rachel looked down. "Yes, they seem to have a habit of making people help the, however much said people hate them, don't they?"

"How’d you become assiocated? You piss them off or was it the other way around?"

"They meddled in the affairs of Heaven where they did not belong. They almost destroyed us. What did you do?"

"Perhaps, it is." Bela said thickly. "The Winchesters certainly get around, don’t they?"

Rachel snorted. "That's an understatement. They're everywhere."

Oh Cas. You always were like this. What can I do?

"A bitch, for one." Bela mused. "Who are you, then? Anna? Hester? The boys have mentioned both of them…."

"A bit rich coming from a demon, isn't it?" Rachel raised an eyebrow. "My name is Rachel. And if I am correct in thinking who you mean by 'boys,' I want nothing to do with them."

“‘Get away’,” Bela said in a mocking tone. “You’re an angel, aren’t you?”

"Don't be a fool, demon. Of course I'm an angel. What else would I be?" She sneered.

"Rude much." Bela strode over to the women. "I understand more then you might think." Her eyes flashed black quickly, the way they did when she was angry.

Rachel backpedaled. How had she not noticed the woman's demonic presence? It was a stupid mistake to make. "Demon. Get away."

Cas, I know it's hard, but you have to let it go. You can't let yourself be haunted forever by what you've done. You have to move on.

"Probably, yes. I don’t blame either side. Both did what they believed to be the right thing, and honestly, I don’t know what is right anymore. After the Cage I don’t have that blind faith I used to have."

"No one would fight a war so fiercely without such belief. Both sides were justified, too. It was a complicated situation for everyone. Blind faith is hard to maintain, is it not? Sooner or later, you start to question. And after that, everything gets a lot harder."

"I never thought there would be so much chaos without me. Was I  really the only thing keeping Heaven from falling apart? I wasn’t even that good a leader. I made a lot of mistakes."

"It wasn't that, not completely. Yes, you made mistakes. But the other angels respected, or feared, you. Knowing there was a power that was watching them kept them in line. But you leaving only added fuel to the fire. Either way, everything would have happened eventually."
