Hopes, dreams, expectations, realizations, and frustrations. As much as I want to start off my comeback entry here in my blog on a lighter note, reality slaps too hard not to be noticed.
In my 20 years of life, I have wished for a lot of things. Some came true, most did not. As the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for, cause you just might get it. There are just those times when all I can do is wish for things to happen. For me, most of these wishes are actually goals or plans for me as I go about this life. Like, what should be my next step in life? What should I do to have the contentment that I deserve? What can make me satisfied in this life? Will I ever be satisfied? To answer these questions, I have a nifty little wishlist that reminds me of lessons, goals, aspirations, dreams, hopes, and expectations.
First off, I wish that everyone will know peace. Not just with the rest of the world but primarily with ourselves. I wish that peace is something that we should never fight for. I wish that peace is not to be taken by force, bought, or sold.
I wish that we know what to look at, how to look at it, and how to react to it. Different eyes, of different people, see different things. We might be looking at the same thing, but we're never looking eye-to-eye.
I wish power will not be treated as a toy that just gets played around with. I wish that for once, just for once, people will realize the truth behind that famous quote: "Great power comes with great responsibilities."
I wish that I could be the change the world is waiting for, instead of waiting for the world to change. I wish that everyone can feel this way everytime they see that person they always see in the mirror.
I wish that I could be more realistic than ideal.
I wish that I could make my fantasy a reality.
I wish for my expectations to meet reality.
I wish I could be given a chance..
I wish that my actions have more volume than my words. I wish my ego would look up to my courage. I wish that my pride is shamed by my humility. I wish that I could make my old me proud of what I am, and what I will become. I wish for people to be more proud of me than me being more proud for myself.
I wish that I could speak louder when it's more necessary. I wish that my noise would be more productive, than destructive. I wish that my laughs are shared with everyone, not against any one. I wish that my voice could be heard when I make sense, and I stop speaking when I need to listen.
I wish that my words are not merely heard, but felt. I wish that I could not just speak words, but I can speak feelings, emotions. I wish that I could speak in a manner that can be understood by everyone.
I wish to be given a chance. A chance to prove myself. A chance to prove that I care. A chance for my feelings to expressed. A chance for this list to be fulfilled. A chance to be heard.
I wish for just one chance.
I wish that you could see this. I wish that you can read this. I wish you to feel more than to understand. I wish that this is not just going to your thoughts, but through the way you feel as well.
I wish for you to realize how you make me feel. I wish you could realize how you mean to me. I wish you could see what I think and feel about you each and everyday. I wish that I could put into words the way I feel about you.
I wish that you knew how much I adore you. I wish you knew how beautiful you are to me. I wish you could see the perfection that is your smile. I wish that you knew how much I like, no, love you.
I wish I could talk to you. I wish I could hold your hand, look you in the eyes and tell you all of the things I need to tell you.
I wish I was strong enough.
I wish that I had the courage to tell you everything.
I wish I was better in falling in love.
I wish you the best for everything you do.
I wish for you to be happy.
I wish you know that even though I'm not that important for you, there will always be that one person that would give you the importance you deserve.
I wish no one would break your heart and shatter your dreams.
