About The Host

Hello there, friends! My name is Shane, and I’m the host of the system. As of writing this, I’m thirty years old. I’m physically disabled; I use a wheelchair to get around. I’ve been officially diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Because of those disorders, I have some memory issues; I may forget to reply to asks or DMs for long periods of time. If this happens, please send me a gentle reminder, and I’ll get back to you!

I’m both otherkin and fictionkin! My primary kintypes are MHA self-insert kin, shiny Mightyena, and Bumakin. Self-insert kin means that I identify as a self-insert I made-- my MHA self-insert to be specific. I could transform into prehistoric creatures. Primarily dinosaurs and ice age critters! The Bumakin type means that I can mentally and phantom shift to Nanaki’s/Red XIII’s species. However, mine’s larger with blue fur, a lion-like mane, thick braids (like old Scandenavians), and saber teeth. And Shiny Mightyena kind of explains itself-- a rare coloration of the Pokemon, Mightyena.

Heyyooo! How you guys doin’? I’m Keigo, but most people outside our little circle call me Hawks. Though, I don’t really go by that name anymore; not since I came here. As stated above, I’m Shane’s social mediator/manager/guide. Which means I help Shane with any social interactions that may cause him undue stress– like phone calls, or meeting new people. I’m a fairly chill guy most of the time. Just don’t expect me to come when called.

’Sup? I’m who most folks would call “Dabi”, but I don’t wanna go by that name these days– I ain’t that kinda guy anymore. I’m Shane’s protector and boundary enforcer, meanin’ that I keep our little man safe from anything harmful– like toxic people, fake “friends”, and any sorta thing that’d cause any psychological pain or sufferin’. I’m usually nice to most folks– just don’t be a dickhead, and I’ll treat ya fine, yeah?

Greetings! My name is Kai Chisaki, but everyone outside of our social circle calls me “Overhaul”. Like the others, I don’t care much for that alias anymore. I’m far past the anti-quirk zealot that I used to be. You may simply call me Kai. I’m Shane’s medical protector and soother; I protect and support Shane during anything medical, such as doctor’s appointments, or any sort of invasive procedure. And, whenever he becomes agitated, stressed, or scared, it’s my job to help him find his center again. I may be around quite often, but I may not reply to messages or asks directed at me; I’m not all that fond of being summoned for simple Q&As. But I’ll answer if I must.

Greetings! My name is Rengoku, Kyojuro, the Flame Hashira-- or at least I was. As of this very moment, I cannot fulfill my duties as I am no longer in the world I called home. Instead, I am the Primary/Head protector of our system. As Toya so eloquently put above: My job is to protect Shane-- and the other system members-- from harm. Whether that be physical, emotional, or psychological. This includes performing tasks such as blocking certain users, preventing contact with toxic/harmful individuals, and preventing exposure to harmful content; such as gore, unreality, and anti-endogenic rhetoric. I take my duties here very seriously. So, do think twice before you send in anything unsafe. Should any lines be crossed, then you shall have to deal with me. My secondary duty is as a succorer-- That is to say, I provide reassurance, comfort, and guidance to Shane should he ever need it.

OUR STANCE ON DOUBLES

Heyyoooo! How's it going?

It's been a very busy past few days for us; baby bird picked up VRChat again, and kinda just…went a little nuts with it. Normally, we try to steer him away from that because of his anxiety, but we decided to let him play a while. And it's a good thing we did.

Long story short, he's found quite a few good friends-- two of which are actually systems! However, we kiiiinda had to help him weed out the toxic ones first. We had to unfriend someone who was too… extreme in her views. The kind of extreme where she openly wished death upon people she didn't agree with. That, and we've found out other things about her, and the people she kept around her. Soooo yeah. Not fun.

Anyways, onto more good stuff! He and one of our system friends are gonna be starting their own podcast soon! They tried to record the first episode, but the friend's internet went out mid session. So, they kinda gotta do it all again from the top. Thank goodness it was the pilot episode, and not mid-season.

Unfortunately, Shane's depression kicked in last night, which kinda means we might not be getting anything else done for a bit. And we might be slightly more active here as a result.

Think I'll end this off here. Shane's meds wore off and we're getting kinda foggy now. So yeah. Take care, and we'll see you guys again soon, yeah?
