It has been awhile. Finally, I get to use such overused term I have been using in my past entries. This time, itās for real. I canāt recall the last time I posted something here (but Iāve been fairly active in my other blog). Iām not sure if itās me maturing or itās just me making up excuses again.
Enough with all that, the reason Iām back is to keep up with the tradition Iāve started four years ago. Back in 2013, I started the year by creating a list of all the things I wanted to accomplish for the year. Ever since then I have always make it a habit to do so (even if at the end of the year I barely accomplished anything). Itās just nice to see these things from time to time -- and also, to always remind myself of the things I want to do. This year is no different, but most of it will be, basically the same things Iāve been doing. But Iāll try to make it more comprehensive and insightful as Iāll be talking about how my 2016 went as well. Here we go.
2016, as it was a bad year for most, werenāt good to me as well. I started working for an integrated marketing agency and life wasnāt that easy. I developed bad habits and had a hard time creating a healthy lifestyle. The result? Instead of losing weight, I probably earned quite the kilos (Iām really not sure yet how many Iāve earned, but I definitely did grew bigger). I also started feeling ill in the latter part of the year. I was totally unhealthy. Now, hereās my goals!
1. Seriously lose weight. Lose 25 kgs before 2018.
2. Get braces in the first half of 2017.
3. Go the gym at least twice a week. Starting 2017?
4. Learn to cook food for self.
5. Stop with the fast-food.
6. Cut-off on the rice gradually. From 1 cup to none.
7. Run at least once a week.
10. Join at least 1 fun run / hiking / or any health related activity.
11. Get a health check-up.
1. Save. Goal is to be able to save 50k up until March 2017.
2. Invest. Start studying about the market and opportunities. By 2018, letās start investing.
3. Open a new bank account solely for savings.
4. Do not, ever, attempt to get a credit card.
5. Help with the family financial matters. Shoulder at least groceries, electricity, and water bills.
2. Finish E1 in the Korean Cultural Center in January 2017.
3. Read books. Read at least 50 books before 2017 ends.
4. Watch movies. Aim for a 100 movies before 2017 ends.
5. Write. Start at least 2 stories. Do fanfictions.
6. Blog. Turn āMemories in Oblivionā into a specialized blog. Keep blogging personal stuff over at āAnamnesis in Print.ā Materialize the creation of āThe Whimsical Bunchā together with Team Palawan.
7. Create more typographies. At least 10.
8. Enroll in piano lessons in the second half of 2017.
9. Learn to drive before March 2017.
10. Attend seminars and workshops.
11. Learn, or if possible, commit to playing a new sport.
12. Try roleplaying. Join at least 1 RP community.
13. Learn a new skill. Draw, photography, editing, singing, dancing, etc.
14. Attend a concert (EXO, f(x), etc.)
16. Meet my idols. A photo would be so daebak.
1. Do something for the benefit of others. Join a cause or an advocacy.
4. Be optimistic and passionate.
6. Spend more time with family.
7. Out of the country with mom.
Other things I want to do:
1. Go to Enchanted Kingdom with friends.
2. Try Scream Park Manila.
6. Produce a film or video with friends.
8. Out of the country adventure with friends.
9. Study again. Make it happen, VGaps.
So far, these are all the things I have planned for now (basically I recycled what I have last year). But Iāll definitely think more and edit this one.
