It’s interesting to me that instead of telling Hamilton “Talk less, smile more”, Burr here only says “Congrats again, Alexander… smile more.” He seems to not care as much about telling Hamilton to talk less, and when combined with the fact that Burr refers to him by his first name rather than his last (which he uses in most other instances), I think this song is important to show that at this point in time, the two are still friends who are happy when the other succeeds.

I am once again extremely late to this day, but this is (somewhat) the @lamssummer2026 day 7, Laurens’ death. So sorry guys this art is so sad :(

Today's prompt for the lams summer 2026 event @lamssummer2026 is the historical period AU, and I chose the Victorian Era (inspired by my love of Dracula and Oscar Wilde lol)! I've always found this time period and the industrial revolution intriguing. It's basically them but a century later, circa 1870s.
