I've been away from instagram for 2 months and this is my first post. . I lost my (maternal) grandma this Ramadhan, the 2nd day of Holy Month Ramadhan. She had stroke 5 years ago. Her right hand is paralyzed and her movement is limited. She lost her husband when she was younger than my mom now, and raised 6 children by herself. Two of them are doctors now, which is pretty cool of my grandma 😎. . This picture was taken when she went upstair for the first time after she had stroke (and it was like hiking for her). Now she is up there, higher than the second floor of our house.

Nay’s Rewind 2016
[Note: basically just me geeking around]
Hello internet!
It’s been sooo long since my last post. Actually I have a lot of drafts to be posted, but I am too busy dealing with my existential crisis these past months.
Anyway, 2016 is a roller coaster for me because I’ve been both up and down this year. Mostly because of college stuff RIP Nay’s GPA. But hey, there are a lot of cool things happened this year and I’ve found a lot of new fandom this year since I’ve been fandomless since 2013. Here’s my list of my personal memorable things of 2016.
(WARNING! THESE LIST ARE BASED ON MY OWN TASTE, AND PLEASE DON’T JUDGE ME T_T)
MOVIE OF THE YEAR: KIMI NO NA WA
Demm time lapse
and this realistic phone drawing that makes me want to own one even though I’m not a fan of the brand
You’ve probably guessed it guys! As a long time Japanese geek, Shinkai Makoto-sensei’s work always amazed me. Especially his movie’s arts and animation. Who doesn’t love those realistic arts and timelapses?!
To be honest, I am not really enjoying the story line of his another legend movie, 5 cm per second (I am sorry sensei) and I personally rate the movie score 7 out of 10 because the slow and quite confusing plot line (I know a lot of people may disagree, but once again this is my personal opinion). However, Kimi no Na wa deserve a 9/10 score for its story line and 10/10 for the animation. First the plot is not as confusing as 5 cm per second, and this is not only my opinion because some of my non-movie geek friends (who doesn’t usually enjoy nor understand non-mainstream movie) can actually enjoy this movie.
Secondly, it’s quite biased but I am pretty excited since I first heard the movie in 2015 that the main character voice actor is Kamiki Ryunosuke. He’s one of my favorite Japanese young actor, and believe me he can actually act. I recommend Kazoku Game for his drama and 2014 Rurouni Kenshin live action for his movies. He is also in Spirited Away! He’s the one that lent his voice for Boh (that big annoying baby lol)
I am sorry for comparing Kimi no Na wa with 5 cm per second. I know Kotonoha no Niwa is as good as them, but I don’t really think a lot of people know the movie *peace ^^v*
Honorable Mention : Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Deadpool
I grew up with the Harry Potter’s Wizarding World so it’s obvious that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will deserve the Nay’s Personal Movie Award.
And yes Deadpool! I am not a huge Marvel fangirl, but when finally there is a superhero movie that the main character is actually an antihero... I can’t even describe the happiness *tears of joy*. The story line is actually decent (in my opinion guys), but the cinematography is superb and stunning. Also Deadpool is the first movie that I can watch the opening credit over and over
EPISODE(S) OF THE YEAR: Erased (Boku dake ga Inai Machi) Ep. 8
I actually wanted to give this anime series the “Nay’s Personal Anime of the Year Award”, but I only watch this anime series in 2016 so it won’t be fair enough. As you people might already know, a lot of people recommend this anime and you can find a lot of reviews even spoiler of this anime earlier this year.
I gave this certain 8th episode a special place in my brain because there was this one particular scene that made me shed tears and .... gah I can’t describe it. Just watch it by yourself! *brb sobbing*
Everyone go watch this scene by your own eyes!
Honorable Mention: Stranger Things Ep. 4
In summer this year, there was this Stranger Things boom where everyone talked about this series. As the result, I decided to try to check this series out and I got bored in the 1st episode. However I forced myself to watch the next episode (so I can relate to the internet), and to tell you the truth it keeps boring for the first three episodes. But after the 4th episode, I finally understood why a lot of people love this series maybe it just because my brain is sluggish af. Stranger Things now is one of my reason to be excited for 2017. Yeay!
NEW FANDOM OF THE YEAR: BLACKPINK AND AKDONG MUSICIAN
Finally after those K-Pop trend that happening since 2006, I’ve actually listened to K-Pop music other than PSY’s Gangnam Style. Of course thanks to Youtube for this to be happened. BLACKPINK is a rookie girl-group (just debuted this year) so it’s easy to catch up their songs (so far there’s only 5 songs from them, and 1 of them is a acoustic version of the other song) but my recommendation is Whistle and STAY because I love recommend things ^w^. And as Akdong Musician or AKMU, my friend recommended it to me and I liked it since the first time I heard them. My favorite so far are: 200%, How People Dance, and Be With You.
As the end, here’s the list of things I am waiting in 2017 (may change and increase):
SHERLOCK SEASON 4!!!!
Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyoujin Season 2
Akdong Musician’s comeback
Guardian of the Galaxy vol. 2
Emma Watson as Belle in Beauty and The Beast
Adios~

Dedicated to my fellow Indonesian Muslim youngsters out there
Hi internet! Since this is dedicated for Indonesian, I’ll do my best to write in Bahasa and less offensive as much as I could. (I tried, okay?).
Televisi nasional menayangkan tayangan adzan setiap hari walaupun hanya waktu maghrib (hingga beberapa teman-teman non-Muslim saya hapal doa setelah adzan).
…. Okay enough with the formal intro!
Gimana rasanya puasa waktu summer, dan lain-lain (because I had too much free time). Do your parents let you dating? Because I’ll die if my parents ever knew I date someone”. Actually this was from around 2010 so it’s kinda outdated.
(or I would say no longer v*ir*gin)
Well bukannya gue ga setuju sama pacaran. Nyari jodoh emang ga salah, malah mungkin wajib (hahaha even though I’m jomblo myself). Your life is your choice mate. This is just my opinion, whether you agree or disagree it’s all up to you.
Gue sendiri udah pake jilbab sekitar 10 tahunan, tapi gue masih ngomong sarkas dan kasar in my daily basis.
BYE BYE CYCLE~!!
Ngerapiin harddisk dan ketemu foto ini, JakJapan Matsuri 2011 maybe (gosh it's been 5 years) Ceritanya pingin sok-sokan ngomong "Sumimasen, issho ni sashin o tottemo iin desu ka?" tapi ga berani. Untung bapaknya pengertian dan akhirnya kami cuma ngomong "arigatou gozaimasu" at the end. #yearsoflearningjapanesewasted #tbt #maybe #ijustwannapostsomething

Anak FK Rant Part 1: Tutorial
What the f word is tutorial?! - google.com *too lazy to translate* Most medical schools in Indonesia have system called "sistem blok" as their curriculum. This system (according to the simple mind of mine) adopt student centered learning and problem based learning. So to make it simple tutorial is one of the learning process on this "sistem blok" where students are -forced to- going to discuss medical problems. The purpose is to give experience to students about medical cases as soon as possible. I kinda like this whole concept of tutorial because with tutorial, I as a noob in the sea of medical stuff, got to know a lot of medical cases, medical terms, and experienced how it is feel to think like a real doctor. (LOL) However this is not as smooth as baby's butt. Not only you need to understand every single aspects related to the case, but there are a lot of things which is way harder to deal than the tutorial's cases itself. And one of those things is The Tutor Dun dun dun dun Oh God yes the success of tutorial is reeeeaalllyyyyy depends on who is your tutor. This tutor jobs is to guide the discussion and make sure that everyone in the group gets the point of the discussion . However, some of them (well I'm not intended to disgrace my professors and lectures here) are kinda. . . i don't know how to put it in better words but yes sometime they made no sense. One day I had to deal with a tutor who just came to the room for 5-6 minutes and then flew away without saying anything. And also there was another time when the tutor is too busy with her phone, or other tutor who was never stop talking -and telling "jayus" jokes so I can't help but need to fake my laugh- when tutor is supposed to remain silent except when the students get stuck or asking, and even there was this tutor who just got mad for nothing to my group. But hey, there are also a lot of awesome tutors out there.. And hopefully there'll always be awesome tutors every tutorial. Actually I still want to talk more about this thing, but I think I'm gonna end this up here because I don't wanna get assassinated by people from my uni for saying tooo much.
Freakin School Caste
[I promised myself to write regularly since I made this blog, but hey I’m one of those massive procrastinator ever born to this universe.]
Hello Internet!
It’s been a while since I write on this blog. Actually I have about 7 unfinished draft to post in this blog, which most of them are rants about my (not so interesting yet full of sh*ty events) life.
From these days of college life I’ve been doing, I got conclusion that if my sins made as a chart, then more than 48% of my sins probably comes from getting pissed off by my classmates. I’m not saying I hate every single of my classmates as a human being, but I hate them for saying things like “equality”, “solidarity”, and so on but in fact they treat each other differently because of “School Caste”.
“What’s school caste” you asked?
Well I got this term from a Japanese drama I’ve said it right I was a massive Japanese freak, named (35 sai no koukousei, tr: 35 y.o. High School Student).
According to the series, school caste is a rank system which classify folks in your class based on their what so called “popularity”. So, the upper rank in this school caste is basically those people who can rule the class even though they’re not the class leader or what so ever (or if I would say people who’s bossy AF) and the lower ranks will automatically follow the lead of these upper rank folks. The upper ranks, can do things freely but the lowest ranks can’t, to put it simply the discrimination is so frickin high. Even people from lower ranks can’t talk to people from higher ranks because it’s gonna lower the rank of higher ranks people. I know there’s no way in a real life this caste would exist, but there will always be a group of people who lead and people who got lead in every social environment.
In my class, there is no clear caste but somehow it’s exist. For example, when someone who doesn’t usually talk that much in class (one the lower rank peeps) give an idea about something, the class would not really care about the idea. But it will be another story if the one who gives the idea is some popular folks or the one who is bossy af (upper rank), the class will hype. I don’t know about your classes guys, but I believe this also caused by natural preference of human for following those who can lead and has a charisma.
Well, as someone who is ignorant af like me I don’t really have a problem being in lower rank or upper rank, but for some people this thing is a big deal. As I said before, there will always be those who lead and who got lead, but it’s also a human natural instinct to be treated equally. Especially by people in the same environment, in this case classmates.
If this post offends anyone I’m sorry in advance (_ _)
End Note : Pardon my poorly chosen words, my English-side brain is kinda broken in this past few weeks but I’m to awkward to write in my native language
