Lapen glanced at the feline as her tail flicked in thought before looking up at the other as they walked along the road. "But, to answer your question, a fae is... Hm. I'm not quite sure how to explain it simply. Some consider them spirits of nature, which some are to a degree. But they're their own species so to speak. Like humans are their own or animals theirs. They are more closely connected and can draw on the energy, or magic, in the world around them to live, cast spells, glamors, or the like."

Normally he'd witness a plethora of individuals: cosplayers, fursuits, the person who thought walking around with a collar and leash on made them inconspicuous (or cool), but it wasn't often he witnessed a feathered freak who was just that. It's only thanks to the glass between them that the other might not have heard the mumblings of expletives free falling from cherry pink lips.

      In seconds, he's outside the shop, the door shut behind him as though he wasn't about to scarf down his fifth pastry of the sitting. He won't spill what he is in case this is somehow another human who'd decided to dress up for some unknown occasion, but he definitely wasn't above unsolicited advice. Arms cross over his chest, head canted, eyeing visage up and down with careful gaze, attempting to spot any discrepancies that might clue him into whether this was an outfit or the true identity.
