“And what harm would it do you if you said, ‘As-salāmu ʿalaykum’? How much would it earn you? Ten good deeds—ten good deeds that are worth more than the whole world!”

Allāh does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.

“When the heart is agitated and has anxiety then there is nothing that will make it tranquil other than the Dhikr [remembrance] of Allaah.”

من لا يفهم صمتك لن يفهم كلماتك على الأرجح

If you have a content heart,

ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb would say, “A man should be [playful] like a young boy with his wife, but when it is required of him, he is proven to be a man.”¹

speak calmly and gently

be humble about your achievements and avoid showing off

avoid complaining and speak positively

avoid gossip or speaking negatively about others

address disagreements privately & respectfully

delaying prayers

mindless phone scrolling

comparing yourself to others

gossiping or backbiting

neglecting personal growth

reacting with anger quickly

negative self-talk

seeking validation from others

overconsumption

forgetting your purpose in life
