π² INTRODUCTORY POST π²
Hey there everybody! This is the OFFICIAL tumblr account for the Eddsworld fanfiction The Prime of Life.
We don't want the intro post to take up TOO much space on the blog, so most of the information (like the tag guide, character reference images, author introductions, etc.) will be under the cut! If there is anything missing from this post we will either notice it eventually OR you lot can send us something through our inbox for us to correct it quickly.
Either way, we hope you all have fun absorbing our madness through our blog!

BOX: Heya everypony! I'm ABoxIsOnMyHead, but y'all can call me Box. I'm the second author in our writing process, as in I'm the guy that goes in once Strange places down the bones and tosses some meat onto 'em. Basically, I fluff it up and make it flow and look nice! I'm into a lot of things, but the only important ones to mention would be Transformers, Team Fortress 2 (which is where I met Strange, actually!), Gachiakuta, Project Hail Mary, and The Magnus Archives. Obviously I'm into Eddsworld as well, but fun fact! I have only been in the EW fandom for like... a month? Maybe two? Either way, this is absolutely bonkers to me. Hope you all have fun watching me and Strange rapidly lose our minds through this fic though!!
STRANGE: Hello, everybody! I'm TheStrangeArtist, but y'all can just call me Strange. As Box mentioned, I'm the first writer of The Prime Of Life, as in I go through and put down what's happening. I actually write most of the dialogue! It's my favorite thing to write. Box does most of the introspection, inner dialogue, and details, and they are absolutely stellar at it. This fanfiction would not be fun to read without them. Y'all better thank me, cuz I'm the only reason Box even watched Eddsworld /j. I've been in the fandom for as long as I can remember, and little ten year old me is going feral about what we're doing here. I do have to let y'all know that my schedule is a bit unstable. I'm a millwright, and I get tossed into jobs at random.

This blog is STRICTLY for The Prime of Life! Do NOT come into the askbox with things like drama, politics, and stuff like that because this blog is NOT meant to hold anything like that.
PLEASE don't spam the askbox. If you have multiple questions, try to send them all in the same ask so that our askbox doesn't end up getting clogged up and we end up missing people.
Don't expect your questions to always be answered clearly. We answer them in specific ways for specific reasons!
Depending on how many requests we have already, how big the requests are, and how much work we have in real life, we may or may not be able to do art requests. Make sure to check the status on Art Requests being open or closed before asking!
NEVER expect your art request to be done! Just because you sent it doesn't mean it is a guaranteed drawing. Depending on how much you ask for, we may not be willing to do it.
If you have ideas on the fanfic specifically, you CAN send them, but just don't expect us to actually do it all the time. We have a vision and your ideas have to fit into it for us to use them!
You CAN make critiques about our writing, but make sure that they are in good faith and have an actual basis. Nothing like "I think you should use epithets more" or "I think you should add three more adjectives before every noun."

Note about the askbox: We have a few differing headcanons, so we have decided you can ask us about them! Just keep in mind that if we disagree on headcanons, they will not be canon to TPOL!!! We will also add reminders when we answer. For an example of one way this works, Strange headcanons that Matt would wear makeup! Box does not. You could ask Strange to draw one of the looks they think Matt would wear. This applies to more than just drawings. You can ask us if we like xyz headcanon, ask us to elaborate on our headcanons, ask us why we like certain headcanons and not others, and more! Side note, you can also ask us things separately in general, not just about headcanons. As long as it follows the rules, you can ask us anything in any way you want, separate or together! Also, don't worry about your asks being too long! Strange thought we should clarify that we understand it would be cruel to have a rule about "don't spam, send all questions in one ask" and then put a size limit on the asks. Let out your inner yapper! Don't hesitate to let us know if you think anything else should be clarified. We want this to be as comfortable of a blog to interact with as possible.
