The Pony Raters

This is Flipbook, she lives in a town I made up called Griffinclaw. Her Cutie Mark is (surprise surprise) a flipbook. She first got it when she watched an animated movie and wanted to know how they did it. She asked her mother and her mother told her they drew a bunch of pictures and put them together to create the illusion of movement, and she could do it too by making a flipbook. When she got home she went right work. It wasn’t very good of course, but she was proud of it anyways. Then she got her cutie mark. She isn’t very social, she spends most of her time either making flipbooks or drawing.

She was originally a newspaper writer because I wasn’t sure if ponies had movies, then I saw the Babs Seed song where they were in that theater and felt better about having her profession be what it is. 

Also, it’s my first time submitting a picture, so sorry if I did something wrong.

This is Lula Belle.

Her talent,as you may have guessed, is singing. She uses it in her job, she sings and works tables at a late night cafe.

She enjoys late night flights,dancing,coffee, and has a cat named Roary.

She is fairly new and her CM is a work in progress, so I’m open to any suggestions for her.

Anywho, this here is Nightwrite, a batpony born in Shireland who currently lives in Hollow Shades. His special talent is writing, and he’s a freelance author, writing short stories and pieces for newspapers for cash.

He’s a dedicated writer, but is friendly and kind almost to a fault, willing to drop anything he’s doing to help a friend in trouble, despite how important what he’s doing is.

But at the same time, he’s rather quiet and hates confrontation, and has a bad fear of being abandoned by his friends and loved ones. However, if no one else speaks up when something wrong is happening, he will. He’s also very self-conscious about his work, especially when tackling new grounds.

I really like the cutiemark it fits the name, the talent, and very much seems like something you’d see in show.

I love how you’ve used different colours in small ways, like the eyes and hair, while they still [somehow???] go together?? Like tbh I want to say the green in the hair looks weird but I can’t because it somehow doesn’t???? What is this fucking magic legit.

Another bunch of ponies I hope you’ll like.

From left to right; these ponies are Azura, Bumbleberry, and Honolulu Sunset. (Both have been rated here! (x)(x) I just tweaked their designs, mainly Lulu’s.) They’re a happy little family, Azura and Lulu being the mothers of their batpony son Bumbleberry. (I frickin’ love that name.)

Azura and Lulu’s talents are pretty much still the same; Azura is a surfer and Lulu is still a hula dancer. She mostly performs during beautiful sunsets at Haywaii and her performances involve a lot of beautiful flowers.

Bumbleberry hasn’t discovered his talent yet, though he’s quite interested in fruit based dishes.

Look at that chubby baby. LOOK AT THAT CHUBBY BABY. I love how the two adults contrast eachother, and how they look on their own is great. I love the white mare looks like she has this  dip dyed looking mane and the ons in the red one. The talents match up and everything.

Like I neever have back shit to say about your horses? They are so cute, always. Idk.

Here’s Whitewood. He’s doesn’t usually say much but when he does, he’s pretty snarky and others have trouble deciding whether he’s kidding or being sincere. He’s a woodcarver who lives and works just outside of Canterlot, and his special talent is very delicate and intricate designs

I love the blue/blood colour scheme. His cutiemark makes little sense with his talent to me but I don’t know much about what he does so I won’t really speak on that. I think he would befit greatly from some very simple markings; freckles, a muzzle spot, exposed hooves. Just something real simple, but that’s mainly because I’m not too fond of plain coats personally.

Credit for the art goes to ThatDoodlingPony, no link due to NSFW content on the blog. Easy enough to find, I’d say. Character’s name is Muddle Mix, he’s a unicorn bartender from Canterlot (mixing drinks is his talent, hence the name/mark). A bit taller than the average pony, that’s about it.

I don’t see many red coated ponies I like, but I like him. I like the colours, the fluffy hooves. His cutiemark is pretty boring however. I feel like you can do a lot more with it, or even making it a jigger and not a glass would make it a little different but get the same point across.

Her name is Sunny Blossom c: No need to rate the cutie mark by the way, I’m trying to come up with a better one as the one she has is very common to see on gardener OCs.

She’s cute, a little pink for me but that’s just my thought on the colour. I like the blond in the mane. Knowing eye colour would help me rate her, but it’s late for that.

I really have no idea. The inbox is so ffull it’s’ crazy.
