So, we did our first radio interview/performance last night for Radio Memphis. True to their name, they are an Internet radio station that focuses on music in the Mid-South. A company underwrites an hour block where they have an artist on to do exactly what we did. It was good fun. Also, it was a fantastic promotional opportunity for us as Imperial Lanes has been out just around a month now.
Interest has been minimal, understandably...after all, we are only a year and a half old and haven't made much of a name for ourselves, but the buzz is growing and we've put the work into it. Is there more work ahead? Heavens, yes.
We have a small, but devoted following in Central Arkansas. We need to get back there soon with the CD, because people will buy it there. We also need a new area to play. I tend to think Jackson, TN or Oxford, MS are the next towns to conquer.
